  1. I baked them and opened them, sanded all the chrome and painted black, then clear coat. Replaced stock projector with 2.5" fxr. Probably my favorite mod, right up there with the wheels and tires
  2. Think fast has a package deal with fxr kit and bracket. Thought maybe there was a group buy going on here too, but check in with him and he can let you know
  3. I would recommended the fxr projectors. They are bi-xenon. I used the 2.5" projectors cause I had a set lying around but 3" is a better fit for the Sierra and probably Silverado Fast headlights has a bracket to mount the fxrs easily too The fxr is the bigger badder one vs the stock projector in the pic
  4. If you have plug and play hids now and aren't impressed go with a full on retrofit such as the fxr I first put in the 4300k morimoto elite kit and although it was an upgrade over stock, I did the retrofit a year later. Wished I had done it right off the bat. I would recommend morimoto, have had their kits in my past few trucks and everything has held up good for the most part and any issues have been replaced hassle free
  5. Added black mirror caps [emoji106]
  6. It was loud, like shaking a coin around in an empty can. It was really intermittent though but drove me crazy when it happenedDealer denied warranty cause I chopped the muffler but I figured that would be the case. It's been fine without it though
  7. I did the muffler delete on my 6.2 and it sounds good. Shortly after the flapper would rattle occasionally so I had it taken out. I also had the resonator removed but it was too loud so after awhile i put just the resonator back on I think the resonator helps with the chopper too cause it was worse without it on and now I don't notice it at all
  8. Undercover Lux. Comes on and off easy and has a led light mounted underneath
  9. I've had the LUX on my truck for a year and a half and would recommended it. It is very easy to install and remove but you do need 2 people since it's more big and awkward than heavy. I chose this cover cause it was priced better and easy to remove vs my last tonneau which was a Leer on my old truck It is waterproof but if conditions are really dusty some will get into the box. My only complaint is that it is rubbing on my paint on one corner but I know that is from taking my truck off-road and having it bounce around a bit. Still wish it wasn't the case, and where it is rubbing is hidden under the cover so don't notice it unless the cover is up. Would drive some people crazy but doesn't bug me too bad. Another thing I like about this cover is that the shocks disconnect in seconds so if you have cargo that won't fit with the tonneau closed, you can disconnect the shocks and just have the tonneau rest on top of the cargo. Easier than removing it altogether. Not recommend for long or rough road trips, but can be done for in town or whatever Over I am happy with it and would get it again
  10. Thanks. I think I'll leave the spacer and see how it rides, and can always pull spacer later if needed
  11. Like the previous poster, I have a 2.5" Rc kit with 1" in the back. Interested in upgrading to 5100s all around. I don't want to go any taller, would I just replace the ranchos with the 5100s at the stock setting since I have the level already? Or would I need to crank up the bilsteins cause I have a level installed. What would be my best option? Would also be interested in the 6112s but who knows when those are out. Thx
  12. I have 305/55/20 now on 20x9 0 offset and had to trim. Rub is worse on driver side vs passenger for some reason.I could be wrong but 305/55 might not fit on a 8.5" rim.
  13. How much nicer does your truck ride going with the new shocks and c.a. setup vs the leveling kit? City, off-road, speed bumps etc
  14. That grill looks good, I've been scoping it on eBay for awhile. Can you save your old grill from the surround or do you need to chop it out ?
  15. I used the rubber butyl I used to seal my lights back up after my retrofit to seal the hole I drilled in the dust caps. It doesn't look great but it has worked well. Plus you can always remove it and put more in after if you need to remove the caps later, fish wiring etc.
  16. That color looks great, few more pics plz
  17. No prob good luck with the setup
  18. I was running 275/65/20 on 20x9 0 offset. So same width as what you're looking to do but your tires are about .75" shorter. I cleared no problem on the fender but did have to trim a bit of carpet liner I am running 2.5" level but I don't see you having any issues with 0 offset or -6 but 12 could be pushing it. The extra offset or width of the tire is what could cause issues rubbing on the fender but you wouldn't have to go as far as norcal
  19. I would say maybe a little louder on the highway, but even then I found myself really trying to notice a difference. Also this tire is much wider than my KO2s, so going to hum just a bit more I would think. Still yet to drive them off-road or uphill gravel but looking forward to comparing [emoji41]
  20. Running the KO2s as my winter setup, and wanted to go a bit wider. So far so good with the Exos, bit of rub though
  21. Just got some 305/55/20 Nitto Exo Grapplers.
  22. Looks great, nice job. I've been looking for a 6.2 emblem as well, I like the one you have and where you placed it too
  23. Yes I had some rubbing on the carpet liner so I chopped it away. Full turn might get a bit of a rub and more so off-road when on uneven ground but nothing majorI actually ordered a set of Nitto Exo Grappler 305/55/20 yesterday so hoping they fit ok, seen mixed reviews on here. My issue now is with the height of the 275/65/20 causing the rub so hoping the slightly shorter 305/55/20 work out
  24. Thanks, running RC 2.5" level with 1" block in the back. 20x9 0 offset and 275/65/20 KO2s
  25. They are black but do have almost a bronze/off black kind of finish in the light so might not flow with the blue granite. Maybe see some in person and you'll knowHere's a pic
