  1. Insulation should not make a difference. The better insulations are thinner to save weight and space. You could probably even use 20ga wire. 18 ga was the largest I could fit into the light green connectors.
  2. Dephi made the connectors, but they had a name change. I don't recall their new name, but it starts with A You can buy the connectors, terminals, locks all from www.mouser.com Do a search in connectors> (brand) > 2 way for the light green one, and 8 way for the black one. They have pictures of all the connectors they sell. Once you find the connector, click on it and it will show P/Ns for the terminals (several offered, 1mm squared is what I used, that is the wire size converted to mm squared) and the lock. I used 18ga wire, 26" long. That was the largest wire gauge that will fit in the light green connectors. You could go lighter wire. Lt green connector A = Red, B = Black Black connector 1 = Black, 7 = Red I no longer have the P/Ns from when I built harnesses.
  3. ONE LEFT! The wire colors are different, I ran out of the solid red and black wire. Since I have no plans to make any more. I used a different wire color (same gauge and length). Because of the age of the trucks these fit, I do not plan to make any more. $35 shipped 1st 48 states.
  4. New prices $70 for the aluminum skid plate $25 for the black steel skid plate Buy BOTH $85 Prices are shipped to 1st 48 states only.
  5. Now $15 shipped, 1st 48 states
  6. FOR SALE two GM 6.2L black emblems. These came out of a black emblem kit P/N 86539788. It also included two "DURAMAX" emblems, which is what I wanted for my truck; a 2022 Silverado High Country Duramax. I assume this kit covers both 6.2L and DURAMAX equipped trucks. Pictures are with and without a flash. There is a sheet of clear plastic over the emblems, so pictures are a little blurred/washed out. $20 TYD first 48 states ONLY
  7. I think you need a high mounted 3rd brake light with TWO cameras. One for bed view (which I assume you have) and one for the review mirror ( which I assume you do not have).
  8. Cadillac Escalade heated steering wheel. HEAT DOES NOT WORK! I bought this to swap into my Silverado. It was a salvage yard buy and not returnable (electrical part) I took a chance and lost. I don't know if it's the control buttons, the heating elements or what is causing it not to heat. I never attempted to fix it. Other than wear on the top right spoke cover (see pictures) it's in very good shape. Dark brown leather with fake wood on the rim. All buttons are nice, not worn. $55 shipped to the first 48 states ONLY. I will part it out if someone wants some parts, but not all. LMK what part(s) you want.
  9. Up for sale is a USED Silverado 1500 LTZ leather wrapped steering wheel. It came off my 2011 Silverado 1500 when I installed a heated steering wheel. It has cruise and audio controls. Black leather wrapped. Excellent condition, the buttons, spokes and leather does not show any wear. See the pictures! $80 shipped to the first 48 states ONLY
  10. Two used skid plates for a 2011 Silverado 1500, should fit other years 2009-2013. I bought these as "take offs" to put on my 2011 Silverado 1500 and never got around to it. The truck is gone. First up is an Aluminum skid plate with 4 mounting bolts. It has 20944322 stamped on it. I assume that's the P/N $80 shipped, first 48 states ONLY Next is a steel, painted black, transfer case skid plate with 4 mounting bolts. Nothing stamped on it. $35 shipped, first 48 states only. Plese make sure these will work on your truck. Mine had the bolt holes in the frame, BUT the holes were not threaded. I was told the bolts are self-tapping when installed with an impact wrench. I was also told the bolts are expensive from GM, but I do not have a P/N to check.
  11. For sale is a set, front and rear Genuine GM splash guards. NIB P/N 84109903 front set, and 84109907 rear set. I ordered these for my 2022 Silverado 1500 as part of the deal buying the truck. I got tired of waiting for them to come in, and installed aftermarket ones. I think I paid $220-240 (not itemized on the sales contract) Choice front or rear set $70 shipped OR both $120 shipped. Shipped ONLY to first 48 states.
  12. The video was worth a 1000 words how the steps move to the rear! Thanks for posting
  13. Thanks for the reply. 1. Lower will be better 2) Coming out more will also be better. I understand my fixed boards are tucked in to be out of the way, getting out I don't use mine. 3 I don't think the truck rocking will bother me 4 Mine are useless to wash my truck. I use an aluminum platform stool.
  14. I am used truck shopping. 2022 or newer, crew cab, short box, 4x4. It will most likely be an LTZ or High Country and stock height. So, I have a few questions. Steps are on my "want" list. I currently have non powered factory 6" wheel to wheel steps on a 2022 High Country. They are 14 1/4" top of the step to ground. Hard to measure, but it looks they stick out about 1" past the break line on the driver's door. These measurements are for reference. My questions: 1) How high are power steps when deployed from the ground? 2) How far out from the truck are they when deployed? 3) Will they give/flex when used by a big guy, 250lb range? 4) Someone mentioned there is a feature for accessing the front of the box. How does that work? My current steps run wheel to wheel, which I like. I am just trying to decide if power steps are a "must" have, or "deal breaker" only get fixed steps. I am still in the "looking phase" (online) and have not gone anywhere to check in person (waiting for better weather). I did go to my local Chevrolet dealer, but they did not have anything in stock with power steps, new or used to look at.
  15. The black connector plugs into the under dash junction block. It's under the dash, driver's side and has black removable cover. It plugs into X14, which is the fourth spot in the bottom (second row of connections. I include a drawing showing it's location. Message me for purchase details.
  16. Four left. I will not be making anymore due to the age of the trucks/SUVs they fit. New price is $35TYD 1st 48 states only.
  17. P/N 84831225 is listed as Cayenne Red Tintcoat. Says fits 2021. No idea if they will fit 2022
  18. That is my first color choice! But I bought off the lot and settled for black. It's already too much black, FOR ME, to switch to black mirror covers. I thought the "satin chrome" matched the stainless steel belt line trim better than CHROME.
  19. My vote is keep the LTZ. Since you said go by appearance; I like grill, wheel, and tires on the LTZ better. Why two trucks? I would think the dealer would have given a good trade offer for the LTZ.
  20. The dealer is going to replace the satin cap with chrome under warranty. I'll ask them to see what number is molded in the satin cap and if it matches the number for chrome (maybe it missed a step or two in the plating process?)
  21. I wondered if maybe Tahoes, Surburans, or even Work trucks used the satin mirror covers? Or GMC, or Cadillac? Maybe there will be a number molded in the interior side of the mirror cover? And right side will be one number higher or lower? Build says Roanoke, IN. Maybe the mirror should have been shipped to Mexico for non USA market?
