  1. I'm sure you could. You might have some slight rub like I do, but its not enough to cause any issues. I only rub if I'm fully locked going forward and go over a bump, or fully locked in reverse.
  2. I drive 100-200 miles/day and after about 400 miles or so, I think they are starting to feel better. Either that or I'm just getting used to it. Regardless, it doesn't seem to bug me like it did on day 1. It has been raining the past 3 days here in Houston and man, having a set of tires that aren't almost bald in the rain is nice!

  4. I've got -12 so maybe the fact that your wheels stick out a little more helps. I may be wrong, but I also thing the 2016 truck have some more clearance or something up front because another member on here BruceBruce was running 20x12's with 33's and claims no rubbing at all. Whats done is done tho. I'm still happy with my decision.
  5. What's your wheel offset and how much level. I bet yours is different than mine.
  6. Still sounds pretty good to me. Any possibility you could get some drive bys?
  7. Here you go. Top is before tires, bottom is after.
  8. Setup looks great man. I might try to climb under the truck today when I get home from work and take a look. Just depends if its raining or not.
  9. That setup looks great man
  10. Wheel well liner and sway bar. Could work, but would need significant trimming. Comparing the 295 and 305 side by side, there was a very very marginal difference in size. Once they are mounted, you probably wouldnt be able to tell difference between the two.
  11. Thanks man. I'll snap a pic tonight for you. Are you doing a level and body lift or what? I know if you do at least a 2.5" level and 1-2" body lift you should be able to clear 33x12.5 without issue.
  12. Thanks guys. Good to know. I've got to be fairly certain that is what it is.
  13. Im interested in this as well. On another note, did anybody else experience a loose floaty feeling once they had new tires installed? I think what I'm experiencing is just a different feel since my last tires were pretty worn down and these new tires have some healthy lugs. Maybe after a few hundred miles it will calm down, but I feel like I'm all over the road. Steering feels loose and I can feel some tire roll on sharper turns. Had them at 40 when they were installed yesterday and aired up to 45 this morning. Not sure I noticed much difference. I think I'm just not used to larger, deeper treaded tires.
  14. Yea. I had them order both 305 and 295 just in the instance the 305 were too wide. They got one mounted and threaded on the hub and I could tell immediately they were too wide. The 295 are just right. Still get a slight rub at full lock in reverse, but I'll look when I get home. I think I'll be able to fix it with some zip ties.
  15. Thank you sir. Rims are 20x10 with -12 offset. I'm going to have to do the zip tie-fender mod to keep the tires from rubbing the wheel liner at full lock.
  16. Thanks guys. I'll play around with it.
  17. While this is fresh on my mind, you guys with 10ply tires, what PSI are you running?
  18. 295/55/20 Toyo AT2. The 305's were going to rub like crazy.
  19. I can actually have a worth post in here now that I have some new tires! Been waiting for this day for a while now. Super pleased with the outcome. 20x10 Fuel Maverick -12 offset with 295/55/20 Toyo AT2. Have slight rub on inner liner at full lock, but should be able to take care of it with some zip ties.
  20. Finally got some tires on! Super stoked with how it came out. Just need to give her a bath when I get home.
  21. Hnnnnnng. Do you have any pics of your setup? I appreciate that. I'd rather go to a smaller tire than have to hack up the front end. Thank you sir. I'll look into those.
  22. Thanks for that. If the 305's don't work, I would like to think the 295 should without any rubbing. I called my shop today and put an order in for the 305. Good thing is once they get them mounted I can drive it around the shop and make sure I don't have any rubbing issues. If so I'll switch to 295. I currently have stock 275/55 goodyears.
  23. Without reading through all 150 pages, does anybody know what is the biggest tire I can run on a 2.5 level with a -12 offset? I'm going to get some new tires this week and really leaning toward the Toyo AT2 or RT. I know I could run 33x12.5 RT, but not sure about 305/55 AT2. If 305 is too wide I'll go with 295/55. Any help on this would be appreciated!
  24. Sounds like a vette with those headers on there.
