    Okay where to start I did the DL8 to DL3 mirror upgrade so I bought the DIY kit from Phil. This kit is OEM quality stuff very professionally made and the instructions were very detailed that it made marking a mistake very hard to do. My install went smoothly other then me forgetting to plug the window power back in ?other then that every question I had he would answer and give some good pointers.     Ok here is the latest update with my mirror swap got the mirrors and harness from a truck that had power fold and signals. So I did have to buy a new switch which I installed and still doesn't work next step is to get the dealer to re flash it because all trucks are built for this feature but need to get a new program so it can operate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yep that's correct I bought the mirrors and both door harnesses from truck that's had power fold and signals and will be doing the install next week I will keep you posted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    So do you guys think the mirror plug will plug in to my factory harness ? Or are the pins different for different years ? And if so will the power and the heat work but no signal and fold and just hard wire the signals somehow after ?

    I own a 2014 Silverado 1500 with heat and power mirrors (no signals ) and my buddy has 2016 mirror that has signals built in that he is selling and was wondering if they would work on mine. The mirrors will fit but not sure if the signal will work. I don't know if there is already a post about this I tried to search for one but had no luck thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I own a 2014 Silverado double cab and I wanted to get the Sierra but every one I tested had a shake 5 in total so the Silverado I tested did not so I bought it after my dealer let me drive it for the weekend. Also my friend has a Sierra crew and had the the highway shake but all we did was get new tires and it fixed it. I've read that it's not tire related but in this case it 100% was and now we still have do not have vibration at any speeds with 30000km on the trucks and there perfect Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
