I put my K&N, in on Wednesday, once the battery plate comes out, its pretty exposed to the elements from underside, I am debating getting the wheel well inserts now. Sounds great when you stomp on it, if I could change one thing it would be the cheap-ass breather hoses on either side of the throttle-body. The stock hoses have some fancy clamps on them, what K&N sends looks like just a cheap piece of tubing. On a lighter note, I printed out the wrong instructions, and used the AEM install instructions vs the K&N. LOL

Brought this home 40hrs ago, K&N CAI is on the FedEx truck and should be here in the next hour!!!

New Member here,,,, 2014 SCrew SLE, Iridium metallic I have read this entire Thread over and over again, unfortunately there are so many variations of the HID modifications, it becomes confusing as to which parts to buy. That being said, I have only owned my truck for 22hrs but am ready for new headlights, it only took one hr of night driving (last night) to make that decision. I am getting ready to order my parts for the HID upgrade, not full retrofit, can someone validate that the below list of parts is accurate: KIT: 9012: MORIMOTO Elite HID System: Ballasts - 3Five DSP Harness Type - HD Relay 9012, do I want the Canbus or HD relay? (Probably a good idea to order an extra) Bulbs – 3Five 4,300 Capacitor Link Extra Set of Bulb's (better to have local than be SOL) My questions: Is this the best kit for just the upgrade? For the Harness Type, do I want the HD Relay or Canbus, is unclear in the posts Do I need to order any special Relay Adapters or am I good to go? I just ordered a set of these for Fog's, will these color match the HID bulbs I selected or should I cancel my Amazon order and get a different Fog bulb?
