Did you happen to read any of this? Nobody has been able to verify this. But from the research ive done, it does appear the 16 has a different harness completely then a 15. So its not looking like a plug n play setup.

I stopped at my buddys dealership last night to research this alittle more. As i was attempting to just to the OEM route. Not sure the swap would be that forward. Here are a couple diagrams of the console. As you can see in the Diagram, there is a wiring harness all ran threw there. However GM does not have the part # associated with it yet. Also, for anyone that is wanting to attempt the OEM console with the wireless charger the part # we found for the lid is 23450838.

i have the full console in my 2015. So im curious if i could just purchase the arm rest itself and swap it.

Ive seen the threads on here of people doing aftermarket adapts. Just curious if anyones gotten the OEM side of it done. By oem i mean GM parts. As i mentioned from say a 2016 model

Anyone done a 2016 console swap? Or just the center arm rest swap for the wireless charging pad?

It's hd and just standard fm seems to be interfering with reception

Ground movement has made no difference on hd

that is the same spot I have my drivers side grounded to. Passenger side I took off the air box, removed the tray under the air box and grounded them to a bolt there that in the core support. The hids function properly and all.

No help on the HD Radio issue? If the hids are off HD comes in fine. 10 secs after I turn on the lights. HD goes out

No buzzing. Still having HD Radio issues. Where did everyone end up grounding? This kit has 3 grounds. 2 passenger side. One driver side

I just installed a morimoto hid set up on my 2014 silveardo. Have the hd relay and the capicator. My question is on the capicator plug in. I keep reading that it needs to be flipped (red to black, black to red) Will the HID's still turn on and properly function if its plugged in red to red, black to black? Ive also noticed since the install, My radio has trouble finding the HD signal. I mounted the ballasts right by each headlight housing. Where did everyone ground their kits? I grounded the passenger side under the batter tray. Found 3 bolts underneath, took the top one out, got the paint off and wired the ballast and capicator to that one bolt. Is that maybe the issue? Where did everyone ground on the driver side?
