  1. Oh ok thanks will check it out. The weird thing is, i was told this by a salesman trying to sell me a kit. He was either being very honest and didn't want my reflectors to melt or he was an idiot and just told me the 3" stuff to sound good. Either way I'm happy with the 35w i run.
  2. I was told once that 3" and under projector size are useless for 50 watt output and will not be any better than 30 watt and will cause issues such as melting reflectors as mentioned previous. Can any one confirm this? I believe that stock 2014 gm projectors are not bigger than 3".
  3. Does anyone have advice on where to mount ballasts? I think I found a dry spot on the drivers side; just on the side panel of the engine compartment but might just velcro it the the top of my fuse box instead. As for passengers side, I had the ballast and relay mounted just above the air box on the side panel but it turns out moisture came in somewhere and now I have a new ballast on order. Ive since moved my relays to the side of the air box (after market afe intake filter shroud) which seems to be a very dry spot. I was thinking of mounting the new ballast just above the rad on the drivers side..any opinions if this area will keep dry?? Also, I've went ahead and put silicone around the side of the ballast where the backing plate meets the housing and in the screw holes to prevent moisture from getting in.
  4. Found it. Page one.
  5. Any body have specs on jumping 10-18.
  6. New to lighting mods. Picking up rigid d2 driving lights for fogs. Any advice on how to always have fogs on with high beam with the option to use the switch to shut off if necessary on low beam.
