Just went for another drive and it definitely feels more responsive. I can feather the gas pedal now.

I just did my truck with seafoam. I can't tell a huge difference yet, but we will see over time. Used my window scraper to keep the rpm around 2000.

Nice truck! I still cant decide if I want to paint my fenders. Your's looks really good. Im just thinking once I paint my bumpers white it would be too much with the fenders as well.

305s will rub the control arms I believe with stock rims, you will need wheel spacers.

These trucks are designed funny, even though the fenders are level from ground to fender lip, the truck is not level. I bet if you measured from ground to frame at the front and back of the truck it would be nose high.

Well, I have gone and pulled out my level kit. I don't know what it was but it rode like crap. Maybe its because my ranchos have 74,000km on them and they're just too dead to handle that extra stress from the leveling block. I am either going to buy a set of used black stock shocks or upgrade to rancho quick lifts.

Can anyone comment on how the 5100's ride compared to stock ranchos? I find the stock ranchos jar and bounce to hard on little cracks in the road. Makes my entire interior creak and pop.

What psi are you guys running with stock P rated wranglers? I noticed my dealer filled my tires up to 40psi. The door says 32 so I lowered them to 32 and it rides a bit better.

At the same time they get a lot of customers coming in that have self diagnosed their problem and they are completely wrong, so they have to stand their ground. Kind of like when you go to a doctor and tell him what you think is wrong with you as per google, and he still goes through all the routine checks to make sure what the problem is. In your case though the dealership was just flat out wrong.

So I loosened my sway bar linkage and it rides better. Still a bit stiffer than stock, but not as bad.

I didn't follow the instructions and I tightened my sway bar linkage all the way as tight as I could. Apparently you are only supposed to tighten them until the bushing bulge. I will probably buy new sway bar links and bushings just to make sure they are good. I also tightened them with the vehicle lifted. I will update after I have loosened mine off.

All terrain, I am going to try loosening my sway bar linkage tonight.

I find going to 285 from 275 almost always means going from P to LT rated tires, and also means about a 30% increase in cost.

In theory a block at the bottom of a strut shouldn't affect the ride, I am pretty sure I have way over tightened my sway bar linkage. I will loosen it tonight and update if it affects the ride quality.

After doing some reading, I think I may have installed my sway bar end links too tight. Apparently you are only supposed to tighten them until the bushing starts to squish, I tightened them until I couldn't tighten them anymore. I'm going to try loosening mine off, but for $20 for two new moog sway bar links I think I may just buy a couple new ones. Seeing how my truck has 74,000km on it and the bushing are pretty smooshed.

I don't think 20's ride that bad, 22's and 24's ride quite a bit worse. I have the stock SR-A's, it rode much softer without the spacer.

I installed my bottom spacer 1.5" level kit yesterday and I find the ride is very rough. Not sure why, I thought these spacers weren't supposed to affect ride quality, but it definetly hits the little bumps in the road a lot harder now. I think I may be going with the rancho qiicklifts sooner than I expected and setting them at a lower setting. Everyone else says they can't tell a difference in ride, either theyre not as picky as me or they're lying to themselves in my opinionm unless there's a chance I installed something wrong. All I did was loosen the sway bar and pry the shocks up to fit the spacer under.

CRC valve cleaner or spray seafoam would be the easiest to try and reduce some of the carbon build up on the valves. Or you could take your intake manifold off and manually clean your valves.

nvm, that was a blonde moment. If its a v6 that isnt exactly going to work is it? Which is too bad because the cover for that engine is much larger.

Wonder if you could just order the 2014 camaro cover with the emblem for less.

For anyone who's thinking the ebay catch cans are garbage, you may be wasting a lot of money on the expensive ones.

Did you just stick the hose into the throttle body?

Does anyone know if I can run seafoam in this same like on my 5.3 to clean the valves? Or any other product people suggest?

I agree, I would spend a few buck on this cover to reduce the ticking, although mine sounds like it resonates through the exhaust manifolds and out the bottom of the truck.
