I don't see why there hasn't been a big lawsuit against GM on this issue . They are very aware of the issue and have refused to admit it .They have worked and worked on my truck and its still not right .
It does rub the fender liners some . bottoms out a little when hitting bumps . im going to be raising it up a inch or so this weekend so it wont bottom out as bad and rub .
3.5 in the front , flip kit and lift hangers in the rear , which is 5 inches , im about 1.5 inches high in the rear from being level . going to see if it settles any and add some assist bags and bring it down a little more . rides awesome so far . install was a pain in the a%* tho .. I think mcgaughy's needs to work on their instructions a little more and maybe add some pics .
Looks like my issue is about 95% resolved . after countless times at the dealership and multiple different dealerships they finally broke down and swapped the tires again .... ive had 6 new tires on this truck due to the goodyears being "defective" ...they put bridgestone tires on it this time like some denalis come with and its running pretty good now . drove it roughly 30 miles and smooth as can be around 73-85 mph . I believe if GM would stop using the junk goodyear tires and put something good on them this issue would be gone !
I will have to take it to another dealer as to im not "allowed" back at this dealer . will be removing lowering shackles and exhaust and taking it back and let them see that my "modifications" were not the issue . its not my fault that GM cant produce a good driving truck
dealer just called and requested that i return the loaner truck and pick mine up . GM has denied the warranty claim due to the modified exhaust and drop shackles being installed on the truck , shackles were done by a local shop that does lift kits and drop kits for this dealership and said it wouldnt cause any warranty issues . GM says they have not denied anything and its the dealership refusing to work on the truck ..Amazing what kind of different stories you can receive between 2 different people . i guess a BBB complaint and Lemon law action will push them a little ?
I have a 14 sierra , had a vibration issue with 13 miles on it .. they replaced 2 "defective" tires on it . vibration still there . they said to drive it and let the truck "break in" truck is now in the shop for the same issue with 7,800 miles on it . . dealer says my "aftermarket exhaust" is causing the issue and it wont be warrantied because of the modifications . whats funny is the truck has only had the exhaust on it for maybe 2,500 miles . they have rotated and balanced the tires and checked everything else . what I find funny is my 2015 sierra loaner truck vibrates worse then my own truck...
