  1. I have a Superchipts handheld programer that I used to programmed my transmission. I just used the Superchips setting, but I am happy with it. There are some other adjustments also, but I have never messed with them. Just food for thought.
  2. no, I do not mind.
  3. This past weekend, I installed an Auto Speciaties Performance (ASP) underdrive pulley. I've had it sitting in the corner for a few months now waiting for my extended warranty to expire. So now it's installed. What a job it was. nothing like the previous ones I installed in the past various years and vehicles. Anyhow, after 3 trips to the autoparts store and fighting with the crank bolt. it's installed. Just as expected. Not a drastic change in the way the truck runs, but it does idle smoother, accelerates easier and when it goes into the 4 cyinder mode (DoD) it is smoother also. Haven't checked the fuel mileae as of yet. There are no check engine lights on nor charging issues. To get the crank bolt out, I had to remove the electric fans and heat the bolt up with my torch for about 30 seconds then it finally broke loose and ziped out with my impact. Yes, I did reuse the original crank bolt. And I will recheck it probably this weekend; weather pending.
  4. It's still under factory warranty. Take it back to the stealership. Have them fix it.
  5. As the title states this is my muffler delete mod. My 2018 GMC Sierra 5.3 had the muffler delete pretty much right after I bought it new. However, I just wasn't satisfied with it. I like the dual exhaust, but just didn't like the tips hanging under the bumper. I had the Gibson catback system on my 2014 GMC Sierra 5.3 and was just was never happy with the look. So, after doing my research on YouTube other trucks, etc... What I found out there was of course the muffler delete, all the name brand/ non name mufflers, turn downs before/ after the axle, out the rear straight back/ angled, etc. So, I decided what I wanted and I had not seen in a long while. I moved the rear resonator to the stock muffler location, dualed it out and turned down the exhaust pipes right in front of the bumper inline with the trailer receiver. And also removed the flapper valve.
