  1. On that note... Happy Texas Independence Day y'all.
  2. He called me after my order went through and I mentioned I saw a post on a forum and that is why I decided to go on their website (I did not say the forum or you by name though). But that phone call was after I already paid for the cover, so it did not play into the price he gave me.
  3. I bought a tonneau cover from AutoAnything and for whatever reason it wouldn't be able to ship for a couple weeks. I saw your post and went online to TonneauFactoryOutlet and spoke with Morrie.. He beat AutoAnything's price (that was already priced matched from around the internet) and the cover will be here Thursday.. I could have even picked it up today if their Houston Warehouse was a bit closer to me. I ended up cancelling my AutoAnything order and buying from him
  4. I agree, does look a lot better! I tried to look through your posts for the answer, but do you have the pace edwards switchblade tonneau cover?
  5. I had my aftermarket sub and amp installed professionally since I'm not savvy with things like that... They did not cut any wires the first time around.. it made all sorts of distortion randomly. I took my truck back to the audio shop and they said oh you must have the active noise cancellation. They cut only the wire to the rear microphone and it now works perfectly. I did not check to see if only that wire was cut, but I have no reason to think they lied to me about it. I'd rather have my amp and sub than a rear microphone...
  6. Yep, Silver Ice 6.2 did... http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/177343-another-mod-today-baby/ I'm thinking I'll go with that as well.
  7. Is this the option I want for my truck?
  8. I considered buying the E2 a couple months ago but decided to wait. Now I think I'll get the E2-X. When ordering the E2-X on y'alls website, which option should I select? For the regular E2 there is an option specifically for 2014+ GMC/Chevy 5.3L/6.2L Trucks, but I don't see this on the E2-X. I don't drive my truck too hard so I think the single outlet is what is recommended. Thanks
  9. Do you have the 6" OEM running boards? I have my OEM's listed for sale on here, but I have gotten much more traffic through Craigslist. I've had them listed for maybe 2 weeks. 6 offers through CL, with 3 of the offers for my asking price of $350. Meeting with the first guy who offered me tomorrow to sell them.
  10. Can anyone confirm that the OEM running boards taken off my 2014 will fit '07-'13 Silvys/Sierras.
  11. About to order my Elite Catch can.. I've read through most of the pages here but I didn't see what most people bought for the type of fittings and type of hose. Are the Brass Hose Barbs and OEM Rubber Fuel Line Hose sufficient enough?
  12. I'm not sure if this guy is here on gm-trucks, but on another forum there is someone running 35's on his 4.3 v6. You can find it here: http://www.silveradosierra.com/under-construcktion/my-2014-build-t369569-90.html It's probably looked down upon to link to a different forum.
  13. It seemed very sticky while applying it and while removing the excess. A video I watched claimed after two years it is holding up like day 1 and others say after 1 year it still looks great, so I am expecting it to last at least a year. If you are worried about the stickiness, one video mentioned using 3M primer that is supposed to help with adhesion but it is probably not necessary.
  14. A little cheesy but added 3M carbon fiber vinyl wrap to the bowties. Matching the tungsten metallic paint is difficult which is why I went with this.
  15. Readylift 2.25" level kit. 305/55r20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Moto Metal MO970 +18. No trimming needed, only zip tie the wheel well lining.
  16. I got my leveling kit installed about 10 days ago for $102 and then the alignment for $80. BUT most shops I called asked for $180 for installation plus $100 for an alignment.
  17. I've been trying to find pics of someone with Anthracite Fuel Mavericks D542. I've only found these two pics. The Silverado's wheels look like anthracite but I'm not 100% certain. Has anyone seen these specific wheels?
