    Think it all depends on where you are driving, if these were NASCAR trucks, probably would make a huge difference. City driving, you will never notice a difference, and if you are loosing a 1.0 - 1.5 on the freeway, but like how your truck looks without it you won't even care. Day 2 mods are still the best thing about any vehicle, you make it your own.

    There are two, a 6 speaker, and then the 7 version is the upgraded factory Bose. I have two large "tweeters", more like a big mid-range in the dash, two larger mids in the front doors, and then two slightly smaller mid speakers in the rear doors. 7th speaker in this set up is the sub woofer located under the center console.

    Yes, and no they do not, not sure about the 19's and 20's. Last truck I had with that set up was my 08.

    Added some dirt to the exterior. 100 at the Pacific Ocean over the weekend.

    Cordless Makita Sawzall did the trick for me. If you do not mind, how much to powder coat them, and what type of finish will it be?

    Buy a set from GM, only around $100.00 and the quality is very good. I have a set (one) on my 18 and it does not even have a chip in it. Removal will require cutting the drivers side bolt, passenger side is pretty strait forward. If you buy a set from GM, they come with all new hardware.

    Welcome to the site. That is an odd question, did you buy the truck new or used, and was it not listed either on the 4 square (Maroney sticker) or on the information provided by the dealership for a used truck? If I am buying a late model truck, I like to know what I have just purchased.

    Ask your dealer if it is something they may have installed, and charged you for it.

    Bottom right hand corner of tail gate if you are standing behind truck, just like the LT's. I would pop out one of your tail lights and look at the plug, to see if it matches the new bed. You will have to remove them at some point to transplant them to the new bed. If the new bed already has tail lights, the LTZ's look very different inside of the housing, same shape otherwise.

    Good call on your choice, the "full polished" is too much. I like the black bezel with the handle being chrome or billet, gives it some contrast.

    Looks good. I have the chrome factory version (along with the center console handle), where did you find a billet one? What is the finish like on the billet handle itself?

    Only way you would have a problem is if you had an LTZ bed, it would be set up for LED tail lights (loom would be different for the LED's), otherwise no change through the years you are working with. You are very welcome for the reply, good luck with your project!

    Wonder if there is someone in Japan right now complaining about the build quality of his Accord that was built in Ohio? Riding Donkeys to work actually might be a good marketing plan, they do get great mileage with pretty low emissions….

    Just kind of catching the end of this "debate", so I will ask a serious question: What would I, or someone else be looking for as far as the differences in the trucks? Having worked at a dealership, I never really noticed a huge difference between the trucks built in different places.

    If it is the same model (crew cab short bed as an example), you will have no problems. the updates to the 16-19 (LD), were the nose and improvements on the electronics.

    My 2008 was built in Canada, my 14, 16, and 18 were built in Mexico, and our 16 Tahoe was built in the USA. They all have their good qualities, and little things that should be better for the price of the trucks. But compared to some of the Honda's and Toyota's we have had in the past, I would say overall they are built better, the reliability is what needs to catch up with the others IMO.

    Awesome, always a nice peace of mind when the truck is running normally. I always forget how much information, and just plain cool the Denali dash is compared to the others. Guess I should know, have the same dash in our 16 Tahoe with the HUD package, just never drive it.

    They do have a trade in allowance option, that is how my 14 went back and I ended up with my 16, which ended up being a buy back, and is how I ended up in my 18. Time consuming, but in my opinion, my dealership and GM stepped up and took care of me both times.

    I saw 136 the other day with temps in the low 30's, and have seen it creep past 180 - 190 in the heat of the summer, probably has gone just past 200. Do you have a trans temp gauge in the Denali, or do you have to scroll through the DIC like the Silverado's to see the temp?

    If you like the 22's, go with them. You are the one who will be driving the truck. Had 20's on my 14, and 22's on the last two trucks, not a whole lot of difference in ride. But, like mentioned above, tires make a huge difference, know this first hand swapping out the factory Bridgestone's on our Tahoe for a set of Michelin's. Night and day difference in every aspect. If you plan on doing any off road driving, just be realistic in your expectations, which holds true for any combo you might have.

    In the long run, it worked out good, took a while. Why are they suggesting you open a claim on a truck under warranty? My claim was opened because the new engine was installed incorrectly in my 16, and ended up being a buy back from GM.
