  1. looks awesome. if you do not mind, how much were they? did you do the install, or the shop/dealer where you purchased them?
  2. DirtyMarcus, have you had any codes show up since using the range module? I had to take mine in to have them reset 4 times because it would trick the stabiltrak system and shut it off. error messages were "service brake assist" and "service stabiltrak".
  3. my truck had both the shark fin antenna fail along with the sunroof glass seal. antenna water leaks are around the sun visor and A pillar, sunroof water leaks will be right above your head by the Bluetooth microphone and edge of head liner opening above drivers head. but have also heard about leaking windshields, and even a faulty weld in the roof seam. good luck.
  4. depending on the age of the range module, that is not the problem. have the dealer take your battery out of the truck and bench test it. mine was sending a low voltage message every time I started the truck that would send "service brakes assist" and "service stabltrak" error messages and disable all traction control functions. zero codes were found for either message. dealer replaced the battery and every thing is fine again.
  5. here is something that you might have the dealers try. I had my first seat replaced with one out of a 2015, no movement at first then a slight movement and a annoying squeak/noise from the seat started. the fix was the seat bolts were not tightened enough. they can go a 1/4 to a 1/2 torn past the initial stop point. the service manger torqued the s### out of it and no more movement or squeak. just an idea, worked well for me.
  6. had same problem on my 2014. have the dealer check for any "dimples" or anything that might make the roof not flat. it took 3 tries before they noticed the dimples, flattened them and now no leaks from the onstar "shark fin".
  7. andyhaug, the seat movement is not normal. call the Chevrolet 800 number to the customer service center. tell them that you want to open a claim on your truck. go in to great detail as into what it is doing and what the dealership is doing to help you. names at the dealership would also be helpful. these complaints go directly to department managers and the ownership of the dealership. these kind of things are frowned upon from Chevrolet as a failing grade for that dealership. give it a shot, you will be amazed at how quick something will start happening. can not guarantee it will be the results that you are looking for, but it will make the issue very visible to all involved.
  8. projectsummit, any chance of taking a picture of the pieces of plastic and posting it? ironic that we are using the phrase "pieces of".
  9. Smothbassman, i am new th the site. my first seat moved like a rocking chair, but no squeaks. my new seat is solid, but has a squeak like the one that i had in my 1973 vega. do the hose clamps help stop the squeak/creak that my new seat has? easy fix, or does the seat have to come out of the truck?
  10. door sill, b pillar, grease, gouge's, and internal damage to my first seat. second seat have been good for no movement, but now has a squeak everyime you move forward in the seat or to the left. not sure what is now causing this with the seat.
  11. good afternoon. 2014 silverado, had seat issue along with many others. i now have a seat from a 2015 model due to the fact that dealership managed to damage my first seat along with the truck while attempting to fix the isuues. now for my question, my new seat has no movement issues, but now has developed a squeak/creak noise that is very annoying. has anyone else had to deal with this new "seat issue"?
