Kind of thought it was up at Snoqualmie, you can see all of the stumps in the lake behind your truck. Wife is getting heavy into photography, so we have been going up 410 to Crystal, snow is piling up pretty good.
Found this thread from 2017, my rear seat is stuck in the upright position! And his solution, I was able to fix it myself. There is a metal locking stop / cam that holds the seat in position. Just look at the opposite side while moving it up/down and you will notice the metal piece that i am talking about by the hinge. You need to use a flat blade screw driver and move the tab to lower the seat. and use a graphite lube or grease to lubricate the metal tab and work the seat up and down to get it working again...worked for me...sorry I can not take a picture of what I'm talking about. I hope this helps you!!
I would think you are throwing a code. Remote start will not work, when there is something not right. That is how I found out the CEL would be on in my 16, no remote start, and the CEL would be on shortly.
Still do not have the truck back. Will be a total of 18 days without it. Should have no issues with a brand new engine, but if things were not put back correctly, who knows...............
Close, not sure of which cylinder, but had a broken push rod. Dealer did tests and found abnormal wear on the cylinder walls and are replacing whole engine per GM. They said that the only broken item was the push rod.
Probably last thing you want to hear, but has it ever leaked? Might want to check for stains on the headliner, if water has gotten into the switches, you might have a faulty switch like the last poster suggested.
I guess I fall somewhere in middle of the masses here, my 14 was a POS, and my 16 has been 99.9 % perfect. I personally think the 18 was a great decision.
Try this.
Resetting the Power Folding
Mirrors
Reset the power folding mirrors if:
. The mirrors are accidentally
obstructed while folding.
. They are accidentally manually
folded/unfolded.
. The mirrors will not stay in the
unfolded position.
. The mirrors vibrate at normal
driving speeds.
Manually fold both mirrors if they
are out of sync. Fold and unfold the
mirrors three times using the mirror
controls to reset them to their
normal position. A popping noise
may be heard. This sound is normal
after a manual folding operation.
