Will a Tahoe console work? The base looks almost the same and I know the top plate is different but are the bases the same. Can find the much cheaper.

I just bought Westin Pro Traxx 5. Can't wait to get them sold and buy something else. One huge issue, the step pad is just in the wrong spot! When I get in the truck I step on the very back piece of the pad and when I get out I step on the metal part of nerf bar, needless to say it's slippery. I like the look but brackets look flimsy and pads in wrong spot. I called them and they said oh well. I emailed them with my complaint and nothing, will not buy anything in future from them.
