  1. Looks great Mike! I'm doing mine later today.
  2. I finally did this mod last week, used diodes I bought from eBay. Love it, huge difference.
  3. I ordered a pair of the 5100s for the rear yesterday from amazon, can't wait to see the improvement towing.
  4. That is one clean throttle body! Nice job on the can too. Bob
  5. Thanks for the info! I'm not going to worry about the tstat, just read about a lot of guys doing this mod. I pull a 5K trailer and never have had high temps. Bob
  6. Great job! Question, could those of us less talented take tube 14 and cut and modify that and use rubber hose to tie into the same filter housing you used or am I asking for trouble? Also I'm thinking of modifying the tstat. I saw where you reverse the insides and the bypass runs fluid straight to the radiator which in turn keeps temps much, much cooler when towing. Am I crazy for thinking about doing this too? Thanks, Bob
  7. Very nice! I want to do this but the wife thinks it's nuts
  8. I like those gold stripes, they remind me of my old 70 Chevelle super sport!
  9. A friend from work just put a 2" level on his truck and used a block of wood under the strut and jacked it up enough to fit the level block in. He said only took about an hour total, said to be careful sliding the block in.
  10. That's a good looking truck! I love the stance, which level did you use?
  11. That is a good looking truck!
  12. Got my 15 in January of 2015 and have a little over 30K. Had a rear glass window recall and a broken leaf spring so if that's all that happens I'll be extremely happy.
  13. I did the same thing, haven't installed the filter yet.
  14. I have read more than I will ever admit on this but since I pull a little 5K travel trailer and looking at the make up of the 0w-20 decided on the 5w. It is still dexos certified so I gave it a shot.Bob
  15. Changed the oil for the first time myself, 30k, M1 5w-20 EP and pf63 filter. Super easy but not used to an 8 quart change, it's a big difference from an easy 5. Bob
  16. What about for towing a 5k camper. Trans temps are around 195 to 200, this seems like it would be perfect for lowering these temps in the middle of a hot summer day. Advise??
  17. I just did this on mine, non adjustable and it is awesome! I can't believe how much better the pedal response is. Why did I wait 2 years when this changes the feel completely. Just a 1" by 1 1\2" piece of 3\8" rubber.
  18. If you use a painters tape it will be a lot easier to remove. Just an FYI.
  19. I got mine for Christmas but wanted to hear from someone with one first. It looks great on your truck so I hope it looks a good with the Tungsten Gray on mine. Thanks, Bob
  20. One question, Can you see the tape beneath the shield once it's installed? Thanks, Bob
  21. I did the Huskys both front and back and they are great, compare my truck to coworkers exact truck and mine is waaay cleaner in the salt and slop
  22. Changed the transfer case fluid and greased the two zirks on the tie rod ends. Surprised at how dirty the fluid was at only 27k, fells good to have new ATF in there, also Severe gear in both front and back pumpkins.
