    Changed the transfer case fluid and greased the two zirks on the tie rod ends. Surprised at how dirty the fluid was at only 27k, fells good to have new ATF in there, also Severe gear in both front and back pumpkins.

    When I lay my arm on my console it squeaks like crazy, are you saying you have a fix for this Grjfer? Thanks, Bob

    Changed the gear oil in both front and rear diffs. The front was a little white and murky but the rear was just a little dark and no shavings on the rear magnet. The front had some paste but no shavings. I ended up using Amsoil, bought it locally from a NAPA Auto parts. Will do the transfer case in the next week or so. I've got 27,500 miles but pull a little 5k travel trailer so I was curious as to what the diffs looked like. Bob

    Has anyone found an easy source for a Synthetic top brand of the non FM oil?

    I was thinking about treating inside the tubes first just to be sure.

    I was just piddling around the shop. I installed the bed hooks that fit in the bed sides. They are really nice, got the frame plugs but started to think about rust issues. Might not be a problem, love the looks but gonna think about maybe treating inside the tubes.

    I got the frame plugs for Christmas too and love the look, but started to think will they hold in moisture and will rust start inside the tubes? Any thoughts?
