Have a 2022 coming, so starting to look at floor mats. No center console so thinking of mats that cover the hump. I've usually had husky or weather tech, but saw on Chevy.com they have some that are 2 piece but interlock over the hump so if you need to dump them or take them out, little easier than 1 big piece. Any thoughts?

Hit a bump in my search for a new truck, so thought I'd hop on here and get some insight from you all. Started looking at 2022's. First truck I came across that I liked was the 22 Trail Boss Custom 1500 with the 6.2. Love the truck and fits all my needs/wants. But then while there a 2500 Custom was being unloaded with the 6.6 gas engine and was actually stickered at $3500 less than the 1500. Again, truck fits all my needs, with the benefit of the standard bed over the short bed, sits a littler higher, etc. I don't drive much (currently 45k on my 5 year old truck), so fuel mileage isn't something I really worry about. My question is, why should I not get the 2500? Do I "need" a 2500, no, but I guess when I think of what it offers me over the 1500, no issues in regards to towing, bigger bed, similar gas mileage, is it smarter to just go with the 2500. Would think resale the 2500 does better, and also I wanted to know what people thought of the 6.6 with the 6 speed tran, over the 6.2 with the 10 speed......Any insight is greatly appreciated.

So I took my dash apart and the plastic doesn't look like it does in the video...either the 2015's fixed that issue, or when they replaced my BCM last week they went ahead and fixed the issue with the ground as well.

Any idea if I take my truck in to the dealer since I'm still under warranty and ask them about it?

So essentially this could be a problem with a every truck?

Was told my truck "sent codes" that pointed straight to BCM.....could that truly be the only problem or should I go ahead and start looking at the ground?

Talking to a buddy that has a 2500, he said his started acting up the same way after he was messing with installing his new floor mats. Eventually found out that the ground wire runs down around the pedals....he probably bumped it while messing with his floor mats. Ironically I detailed my car and vacuumed the carpets the day before mine started acting up. Any idea if the ground wire runs down near the pedals where I could have tweeked it while vacuuming?

The wife would love something like that to happen with my 8 month old in the back.....did you ever look to see if the ground had an issue before you sold it? Just wondering if I should go ahead and tear into it.....

Did it seem fixed after they replaced the BCM? I just got my truck back last week after having the BCM replaced....so far so good....just wasn't sure if I should go ahead and tear into mine to check the ground?

What is the BCM? My truck literally just did this about a week ago...on start up, lights flickering, stabilitrack, power steering issue, bells and chimes going off. Had it towed to dealer, and service guy calls and says piece of cake...the codes pointed right to some 'chassis module"...service guy even joked "next time bring me something tricky to replace"....I read these post and get nervous

Finally got my tint done....went with 15 on the fronts and I believe they put 35 over the factory on the backs. Next up a level kit, and then I'm done.....thank god for this forum so I can watch everyone else spend their money.....wish I could do half the stuff some of you have done to your trucks. There are some great looking trucks on here.
