  1. Think I’ll be buying a Ford next diesel I buy. I’ve already been through the oil pump pick-up tube with my 05 5.3 that I bought new. Then the 8 speed transmission problems with my 2015 half ton that I bought new, oh which also dropped a valve on the 6.2 engine at 69k miles. Now to the 2015 Denali hd diesel I bought as a certified pre- owned which had half a foot of play in the steering when I picked it up…. So many dealer problems with that, I don’t want to type! Oh then there’s the cp4 pump crap on the $70k diesels, now the paint flying off as I drive down the road!!!!! SMDH in shame!!!

  4. Mine is parked in a shed 70% of the time! I think I’ll just take a black paint marker and write some anti gm rhetoric on the panels!!!!
  5. Just noticed my 2015 Denali HD in summit white is doing the same thing on the driver side rear door. I thought a turkey had taken a crap on it then I noticed it was the turkey turd tan primer gm uses and the paint evidently just flaked off over night. Whats next?
  6. Def fluid smells like grease to me. I don’t think it would be burning your eyes. Turn the air recirculation on and see if you still get the fumes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Could be the trailer brakes. Check wiring to the axles for breaks. I had a brand new trailer that the wires were routed in such a way when the suspension moved for the first time it cut the wire into. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Just sold my 15 6.2 slt with max trailering package and picked this up. It’s a 15 diesel 2500 Denali. 66k miles and I hope it’s just getting broke in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The ARE has a better latch mechanism and door seals than the Leer. Also the ARE unlocks with the doors. Wasn’t even an option when I bought the Leer (2 yrs ago). It may be an option now. I don’t think you can get the ARE with the solid glass on the sides though? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. I just rolled 69,000 on my 2015 nht, 6.2, 8spd. Two transmission rebuilds and umpteen reprograms, and getting a new engine next week for a dropped valve when a spring broke! I love my truck!!!!! I’m just glad I had the 100k drive train warranty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. My 2015 8sp is shuttering bad. It started around 7k and I have 11k on it now. Gets worse every time I drive it. Took it to the dealer three times. Once for TCM Update, twice since the shuttering. It will do it at any speed, any gear under constant throttle or light acceleration. GM of course has give me the runaround. The first tech said it needed a torque converter but they were waiting on an improved version to come out in about a month. Right when the month was about up the service manager called me and said there wasn't a fix and he didn't know why the tech put it on the receipt. I told the service manager to schedule me an appointment for the following Friday so I could show him what my truck is doing. He wasn't there when I took it in. The tech that checked it again said it needed a torque converter. He ordered it and may come with a new trans. Part was supposed to be here around 7 days from 11-20-15. Still waiting. My major concern is, if this thing has been shuttering this long there is probably some wear on something. My hopes is that they do the whole trans. When it shutters, it's so bad the steering wheel is bouncing up and down. Feels like I got some 12s in the back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
