  1. Ok, misread odometer, it just turned 44K last night on the way home from work, after I filled up. These were taken after I got to work this afternoon.
  2. My 2015 was killed JUST SHY of 55K miles, 4 years ago. My 2018 will be turning 45K tomorrow.
  3. Recently, I used mine in the front of the bed to keep the toolbox that I was picking up from Lowe's from bumping the bedrail and the cab. For the most part, I keep it in the back set for keeping things near the tailgate, like groceries, etc.
  4. I used a 2x12 for mine, most use a 2x4.
  5. @Transient, I'm with @Railroad_Jim, I would like to see your completed mount.
  6. A lot of resistance, feel like I'm going to break something if I push on it any harder. Yes, both FOB and door switch.
  7. Maybe a similar fix with the Canyon/Colorado as this one for the Sierra/Silverado.
  8. Last weekend, the problem got worse, now the driver's side mirror will NOT fold. It moves about 1/64 of an inch and stops like it hit the extreme of the fold. Any solutions that I can do at home? Not looking forward to replacing the mirror.

  10. I looked at RockAuto, Amazon, and the local dealership, for a left rear window regulator, last Monday. RockAuto was cheapest and the part wouldn’t be here until Friday. Amazon was $20 more and would have been here on Wednesday. Dealership had one on hand and was fairly decent in price. Good thing I got it from the dealership, thunderstorms rolled in at 1:30am on Wednesday. Don’t be afraid to shop around before buying.
  11. Yeah, I don’t understand that either, why if it wouldn’t let you start remotely was it letting you start it normally? Maybe to draw the driver’s attention to service needing to be done. @No Tyme, was the “CEL” on? I know the remote start will not work with CEL on.
  12. Replaced the left rear window regulator on Monday (Photo #1), the window "fell" on Sunday afternoon, and it's raining today (started around 1:30am). Photo #2 was taken around 8:30am, the lightning strike struck a motor home about 2 miles away, caught fire (photo #3).
  13. Cable on the Window Regulator snapped. Out with the old (took about 10 minutes to finagle it out of the door, showing my son what happened to it): Point of failure: In with the new (went in with no problem): Cleaning off the grease on the window (Hard to keep fingers out of the grease when manhandling them):
  14. That’s what my son said a little bit ago when I showed him the clip.
  15. My neighbor’s dog was barking, so I checked my security camera over my driveway. I noticed that my driver’s side rear window was down, at first I thought someone broke it, so I went out to look at it. It wasn’t broken into, so I tried to raise it up, no go. I went back inside to review what my camera caught, and it fell on its own Sunday afternoon, over a 30 second period. Regulator? IMG_3227.MOV
  16. Ok, I exaggerated a little bit. Average price around Antelope Valley (Lancaster/Palmdale) is $6.75
  17. There’s a mod already to dim the screen even further. I’m doing that mod on my truck this weekend, since I received my de-pining tools Monday.
  18. That’s how you can supposedly do it in a Tacoma. I always thought that it was someone trying to get someone else to drop their transmission in the middle of the highway.
  19. 1500 PAGES?!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!! Drove my truck for the first time in 10 days, $8/gal sucks, been driving my son's car or my wife's CR-V Hybrid, and driving my truck once every week or two. As I was driving down the main drag in town, I heard something flopping in the breeze under my (open) sunroof. I usually drive for about 10 minutes or miles with the sunroof in vent and shade almost closed, to draw the heat out. Found it to be a VERY simple fix. Just re-engage the clip/slot from the front to the back.
  20. etrailer.com NO, seriously. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Access/A94FR.html?feed=npn
  21. Mine wouldn't run if the AC was in AUTO, had to manually set the fan. Couple days later, it cleared itself, have never had a repeat of it since.
  22. I've been thinking about doing the same thing to my truck. Can't wait to see the pictures after you install yours.
  23. Got mine at Lowe's. Keep the worm clamp for a future project or pitch it. Measure your fill port diameter first, so you get the correct size. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Fernco-2-in-x-2-in-x-2-in-dia-Cap-PVC-Fitting/1000075369
  24. There's nothing in the radio settings to adjust the output to it?
  25. Idiot was released from SAN QUENTIN just before or over Easter Weekend, after serving about 12 months.
