  1. Why is my Fuelly banner not showing in my signature block? I took one line out of my signature and the banner disappeared. Copy/Paste the code back in, and only the code statement shows up.
  2. Back tires on my '18 Silverado look even, even with me standing slightly off to one side.
  3. Still running on my original stock wheels AND tires for 44K miles, but I'm getting close to having to replace them. The big debate is same ATs or something that will get better MPGs. About 4K ago, I started hearing more "road noise" because of the way that these tires wear, "feathering."
  4. What is the length on the M/M USB cable? I've seen quite a few of them at the 99¢ Store, even-though I've never seen the need for one, until now.
  5. I was working on a couple of our trailers here at work over the last few months. One of our trailers was ALL F'D UP at the plug, only the RT turn and ground were correct. Told them that like 2 years ago. I had done some of my own troubleshooting, and told them which wires they had where. "They fixed it," and still had a few on the wrong pins. Management will NOT let me fix it, "our AGE mechanics have to fix it." This particular trailer is a "lift trailer," AKA "low boy," and the battery wire is on the tail lights pin and the tail lights wire is on the 12V pin.........STILL!!! Day Shift turned in the trailer for maintenance, "dead battery," today. Last time, all AGE did was replace the battery.
  6. I haven't driven mine yet, since I've installed my tailgate light bar. Been driving that "fine ass" Civic in the photo below. Tried to catch the "lock flash" at just the right moment.
  7. I know that they never fail at a convenient time/place, mine failed on my way home from work. The Air Force Base that I work on had a security issue and stopped all outgoing traffic (15 miles of NOTHING, either direction, other than the guard shack), so to save fuel, I turned my engine off and within 2 minutes, I received the "Low Battery....Start Engine" warning......................she would NOT start. Got a quick jump from the Ram next to me, and went home. Next day, I ran a few errands, no issues until I completed the last errand......she wouldn't start again. Called AAA out, they jump started my truck and I drove to stealership (other side of the highway, less than a mile away), where they replaced my (2yo) battery for FREE.
  8. A little over a year ago, I had to replace the battery in my truck, but I live in a desert, freezing cold and extreme heat do wonders on batteries. In my '15, in the 3-4 years that I had it, never replaced the battery. I'm sure someone took it from the junkyard. BUT STILL.......7 YEARS?!!! WOW!!! Congrats on the long lasting battery, hope the new one lasts as long.
  9. Summer of 2020, my AC would only "work" with the fan manually set to "HIGH." Don't know what fixed it, next day was fine.
  10. Outside of Sea World, Zoo, and museums......there's not much else to do, other than go hiking out in Alpine and beyond. The south end of Pacific Crest Trail (3000+ miles border to border) is at the border in San Diego. I live a few miles away from the Antelope Valley section of PCT.
  11. That comes in handy when you have a back row full of adults. Joke: Now they are vampires.
  12. I’m on a streak, did something else to my truck, today. TAILGATE LIGHT BAR A few weeks ago, I connected a 5-Pin Flat Trailer Connector to my Lightbar. Last weekend, my son and I put all of the wires in a tube, just like the rest of the harnesses under the bed. Today, before installing it, my son and I tested it, it all worked. Tailgate Light Bar - Tried catching the unlock flash. Unlite Lightbar Connector above hitch There’s a “box in front of the bumper, where I stuffed the rest of the harness.
  13. Now, the bow tie on my steering wheel matches the ones on the grill and the tailgate. Tried using some touch up paint that I had, didn’t like it, so I reworked it with some Plasti-Dip I had laying around. Prepped for my initial attempt to paint it black. You can see how “ugly” it turned out, initially. First of three layers of Plasti-Dip. Used my recently purchased heat gun to force cure each layer/application. “Finished product.” Edited just now by Ravenkeeper

  15. I was about to say, that she was in need of a serious wash. For me to wash my baby during the winter months, it has to be at least 45º for wash-o-matic, and at least 65º for handwashing. Looks good.
  16. My 15 was two separate bulbs.
  17. This is your BCM, under the dash, above/outboard of the brake pedal. Black-7 (Lt, grey wire w/ dark blue trace) & Brown-7 (Rt, dark blue w/ brown trace) are you DRL power points.
  18. My daughter's '14 Cruze did the same thing at 135K miles. Replacing the spark plugs fixed it, especially since one of them was cracked in two places, was shorting out to the block.
  19. Looks like your system is OFF.
  20. Please, post a picture of your BCM with jumpers.
