  1. Just got my truck back; was same thing. Fuel pump control module was shot. They had them in stock; took a day to fix.
  2. 23 5.3 1500 LTZ with 16k miles. I’m fairly certain the same problem. We were on the way to lunch and going through an intersection when the engine cut. It wouldn’t fire up; just turned over and over. Called a tow truck and had it dropped at Chevy.
  3. I literally forgot I had this installed until you replied. It's been a none issue -- haven't had a single problem. I also don't drive every day and it doesn't run the risk of draining my battery like the old range devices did that you plugged into the OBDII. I'm getting the oil changed on Friday and I have zero plans to remove it.
  4. I don't think so. I think the trailer functions are based on detecting something plugged into the trailer plugs -- tapping the feeds for the lights themselves I would think is OK. Maybe. Just what logic is telling me but I could be so wrong.
  5. I was thumbing through the parts catalogue and I noticed that my VIN (2023 LTZ Z71 1500) only lists 2" rear blocks and it says "FOR 2" LIFT PKG". I thought the lift package was only on the AT4/ZR2's? Did the LTZ Z71's come with a 2" rear block instead? I remember when I had my old 2015 LTZ Z71; we put a BDS 6" lift on it with a BDS 5" rear leaf spring and left the factory 1" block. I thought all our trucks came with 1" rear lift block. I'm on a BDS 6" now with 4" block so I couldn't measure, nor do I even have my old block. LOL. Yep, random question of the night!
  6. Ok that was a piece of cake! I’m on a 6” lift and I didn’t even need to pull the liner. You can pull it back enough to access the ECM. I bet you could do it on non lifted truck too. Just crank the wheel to left and slide in there. Took me 5 minutes; which means swapping it for recalls etc won’t be hard. its right above that silver bolt by liner there.
  7. Yep! I have my recall Friday for the radio module. After that I’m good for just basic oil changes.
  8. OH good call! I forgot I got to schedule that recall.
  9. THAT is awesome! I'm hoping to get it next week and installed. Looks like I should be able to move my liner out of the way to access the ECM. I'm on a 6" lift with 35's and have plenty of space above my wheels to work. I don't really see a need to pull the whole thing off LOL. That's been the biggest gripe I've had is this dumb DFM and Autostop. I hate having to remind myself to go into manual 9th gear to disable it every single time.
  10. Range just dropped their tool and I ordered it. Excited to get it installed and see how well it performs. They went the inline ECM approach instead of the OBD plug. I prefer that since my AMP steps are in my OBD port LOL. Will provide some feedback once I get it installed. https://www.rangetechnology.com/products/dfm_module/parts/RA007
  11. i wish. It doesn’t appear they support the 2023 model.
  12. Do you all have a rough ride with the RT's? I've got about 6k miles on mine and they vibrate like no tomorrow above 30mph +. It's pretty irritating on the highway for long drives. I'm running 35psi on 35x12.50x20 on Fuel's. I've gone to several shops and have had them balanced multiple times. Suspension checked out. Nobody can figure out why. I'm at the end of my rope on just ripping them off and going to something else. I don't expect a caddy ride but I never imagined these things would vibrate so much. It's like cruising on a pebble road at 70mph LOL.
  13. THANK YOU! It was that. I put it in L9 and it stopped that crazy buffeting sound I'd get in the rear. Do you keep it in L9 always? I noticed not much MPG savings between L9 and auto when driving hours on the highway. Wish we had a way to disable this dumb DFM crap.
  14. Those of you who went custom or cat-back with no flapper valve -- do you have this weird kind of "buffeting" sound from the rear on slow speeds 30-40 when shifting to low gear/activating cylinder deactivation? I'm chasing down this weirdness that's been present for a really long time and I think it's exhaust -- it wasn't long before I ripped out the stock and put a Flowmaster 40 on with no valve but I didn't think much of this. Just curious if others experience this. Hard to explain -- feels like buffeting under the bed. I can make it happens a lot around 20-30-40ish mph when just casually driving and getting the truck into the lowest gear and/or having cylinder deactivation happening along with it. I was tempted to run it by Chevy to make sure it wasn't like a diff issue or transmission issue. I can't remember if this was present before I put a lift on. I had the exhaust way before I put the lift but didn't really pay attention I suppose.
  15. I bought this one: https://www.putco.com/product/blade-tailgate-light-bar-plug-n-play/9202060-05/ I attached the PDF install for it. 529005.pdf
  16. I got mine from Putco directly and it had a harness. I had to get under the truck and unplug 3 different plugs; and then plug in putco's harness, then the GM plugs back into it. And at the end was a 4 pin plug and reverse plug -- along with a black box.
  17. Thanks! I just found it on their website -- and it looks like it comes with the harness too. I pulled the harness last night so will see if the issues go away. If they do I'll contact Putco; maybe I got a bad harness that is back feeding power or something.
  18. Yep. I had one on my 2015 and it never caused me issues. Now I got all these problems and they’re sending me on my way. Telling me it’s the light bar….. My guess is they didn’t sell me the truck so they have no vested interest in helping.
  19. I bought a Putco 60” blade with quick connect harness. I keep having weird blind split indicator issues and Chevy says it’s the bar and it’s causing all these alerts. Putco says it’s impossible. Going to pick up the truck and pull the harness. Has anyone had this issue before? Here are the install instructions for my bar: https://www.putco.com/product/blade-tailgate-light-bar-plug-n-play/9202060-05/
  20. Just got home and pulled the connections for the putco, no change. Couldn’t release the tailgate. i pulled the black plug apart (main connector for entire harness in the tailgate) and plugged it back in—now it works……… I’m at a lost. The connector only goes on one way. It’s not complicated so unsure why this is happening. May have to take it to the dealer.
  21. I have a 23’ 1500 LTZ with 7k miles. i installed a Putco blade on the back and removed the tailgate (unplug the harness and camera.) The blade was the one that comes with the plug in play harness where you disconnect the taillights and put them inline. Ever since this I am having issues where my mirror blind spots will stay yellow for a long period of time. And my tailgate button will not lower or raise (this is the button on the actual tailgate—the one inside the truck is fine.) Has anyone installed a blade and had this issue? I’m about to disconnect the blade and see if that changes. Otherwise I need to head to the dealer. The weird part is my backup camera and sensors work just fine. I just seem to randomly lose my blind spot sensors and the tailgate button. I was very careful when I undid the harness and removed the tailgate from the truck. I made sure not to break anything. This is what I installed: https://www.putco.com/product/blade-tailgate-light-bar-plug-n-play/v/Chevy/Silverado 1500/2023/ Thanks for any help!
  22. Has anyone actually had any issues? I just picked up a 2023 LTZ and my tint shop who I've used for 8 years just told me this. I have to sign a waiver to get Air 80 put on my front windshield (they use Llumar.) He said they'd shove towels/etc down in there to be safe, but I will need to sign the waiver.
  23. Sadly codes don’t offer discount. At least they didn’t show for me. Sure accepted but it was $0. [emoji45] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Nimnicht has about 15 of them on the lot. I was looking at one the other day. By the way hi from your friend about 30 miles north of you on A1A. [emoji3526] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I have a 15 LTZ Z71 with BDS 6” and 35x12.50x18s. My garage is 7 feet tall and I fit inside it just fine. You can probably just cross reference stock heights between 2015 and yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
