  1. 6” with 35’s I got 12mpg period. I changed the gears to 4.10 and now I get 15mpg period. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I am excited! Truck was dropped off today to replace the RC 6” with a BDS 6”, full coilovers with reservoirs, and BDS rear leaf springs. I pick it back up next Monday because I have to go out of town. SO EXCITED!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have a 6” lift with 35” tires and I park in my garage which has a 7’ opening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah 22mpg—jeez. I do 16mpg period with 6”, 35’s, 4.10 gears, and 93 octane tuned on 5.3L. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I didn’t have a lot of choice or time—it was day before Christmas. I needed to take my truck on a long distance trip. If I recall the UCA were made by Precision (OEM). I will consider aftermarket next time I need them. I was just surprised that they were already toast. Truck hit 50k miles; lift has only about 8k miles on it. Before that it was level kit and E-rated 275’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. 50k miles and I just installed new UCA's -- my ball joints were shot. I'm pretty certain it was the long miles with level kit and E-Rated tires that chewed them up.
  7. You need to check all wires from when the lift was put on. I drove my truck for 3 months in stock gears before I put new ones in. Changing tire size with tuner only affects what you see on dash and transmission shifting pattern. It doesn’t tell cruise when to shut off. Your cruise control not working is either bad wire that was moved after lift or you got a real cruise control failure. Unfortunately the dealer is already giving you crap because you lifted it. 8. I loved my truck...... I made stupid mistake of getting on Autotrader to see how much prices on trucks dropped. I found a number of fully loaded 2018 LTZ Z71’s for 41-42k, including the 100 year anniversary one. Wife looked at me with those eyes. You know, the ones that say “you little #%^*. You just spent $7000 lifting and re-gearing your truck and now you want a new one? I don’t think so!” [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. You buy a extended jack and carry it with you. You could use blocks of wood if needed but I wouldn’t trust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I’ve been looking at Ram Rebel but can’t pull trigger for 2 reasons. 1. Wife said no and would murder me. 2. It’s a Ram. I agree the sound is different. Mine occurs only at load on an incline—bizarre as hell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I’m sad to report it’s still there and a tune doesn’t matter. I thought it was resolved with 93 octane but apparently it just moved to different RPM range. I took a 300 miles trip today and I discovered with my gearing to 4.10s and a 93 octane from Diablew the noise now occurs on load at around 2100rpms which is my OD at 80mph. It used to be around 1600 rpms before I lifted the truck and changed gears to 4.10. Not sure what it is at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Is your truck tuned? By who? I got mine to stop with 93. I could never hear or produce it when I was stock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. You try the clips? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You want this. Hidden Hitch Tekonsha 118384 T-One Connector Assembly https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001A1M1J6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_lPdCBb9BV5NH3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I didn’t get redline because it annoys me that it’s behind by 2 seconds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It was driver side firewall and it sounded like someone rattling can with marbles. It happened when I put load on engine going up a grade. I switched to 93 octane fuel and it stopped. I ended up getting a 93 octane tune from Diablew and plan to just run 93 from now on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I have been running 93 octane for about 5 tanks and I’ve not hear the rattling sound. It’s pretty much gone. I have no ideas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I installed my Opt7 LED tailgate bar today and handled tailgate redneck style. LOL. I was not about to feed the camera cable out to take the tailgate completely off. I like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Love it. Waiting for more shots of the hood up close. I been wanting that hood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Damn! GMC. I have 15 LTZ with top projector. I could probably do the same. Did you glue that cut out back on so that you had dust cover and stuff? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Oh damn. How do you seal it back up? Is that the new style head lights? Gah wish I had 16 or newer LOL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Looking forward to seeing this. You have crack cases open? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I obviously couldn’t wait to install them. The front was easy but the rear was a pain in the ass! They’re clip on and I’ll be surprised if they fly off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I got my painted fender flares in today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Update on the “Marbles in Metal Can”; This is only a partial—I need more time to ensure it’s not a placebo effect. I filled up with 93 octane and I have been unsuccessful in making the sound repairs. My usual testing method involves any type of grade where load is put on the engine. I’ll post again in another tank full of gas used. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
