    A quality, true 100% synthetic fluid is worth a try to me. I highly doubt it's a true 100% synthetic like the ones I listed.

    Change the trans fluid to a 100% synthetic fluid. Amsoil, Redline, MPT, Triax.

    My brother in law has a 1988 c 2500 chevy bought at a city auction. Truck was used by parks and rec. dept. 350 with 411 gears 4 speed auto. I don't know the mileage but it's up there. He uses the viscosity oil on the filler cap for normal use. He towed a 10k pound trailer for many miles with it but puts straight 30 weight oil in it to tow. 3k OCI's. Still has it.

    I just want to throw this out here. I'm an audiophile, been one for years. This industry has, has had equipment problems on some expensive pieces. All mass produced goods will have problems some times.

    I'm having a tough time lately. My right hand from the carpal tunnel, elbow surgery is useless and still painful, post surgery 16 days. My left hand/arm from shoulder surgery has improved a little. More time for both. My brother was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome this past week, age 68.

    Thanks for the compliment custom. We haven't had a car payment for 35 years. Last car we financed was $5k. My dad decided to move to the city and leave farming. Glad he did.
