I got my A.R.E. Z camper shell installed. The paint match is perfect, right down to the orange peel and all.

Finally washed mine after owning it for almost six months. I might throw a coat of wax on her today.

Ok, I installed my cai today and I must say it looks pretty good. The big airbox and filter fill up the space nicely. Now I just have to get used to the sound it makes, it has a weird growl at low rpm/ lots of throttle. Before After I only have 1,250mi on my truck but there was no oil in my intake or throttle body.

Sweet trucks everyone! Really like the blue trucks. I also really like the lowered 2wd trucks, makes me want to get my '88 on the fast track but I'm still saving pennies for an Ls3 for it. I put these double wall, powder coated tips on Friday (will get welded soon) and I have an intake I'll probably install tomorrow.

Got some tips today for my Borla exhaust. I wanted them to sit back behind the bed so it won't crush into it if I put it into some rocks off road. I will weld them up later once I decide on the final placement.

This was waiting for me when I got home from work. My initial thoughts? Damn, the air box and filter are HUGE! A little overkill I think. I'll install it when I get a chance and give a report.

I got my river boat out this weekend, charged all my batteries, and took her out to the lake (10min from home) just to,make sure she was ready when the river starts flowing. I also installed my GM/ Borla exhaust and am pretty pleased with it.

When I'm driving through a rock garden at 10,000ft in the Sierra or through a desert wash in the Mojave, miles from civilization, just my dogs and I, I like to know my tires have the toughest sidewalls on the market.

I got my front windows tinted today. I went with 35% so I hopefully won't get hassled about it by any police officers. Looks pretty good and it will help out in our terribly hot summers.

I wouldn't compare them either just based on price. A pair of 5100's for the front only costs $180.

Ok guys, since there is no GM/ Borla option for our trucks (I'm not going to pay that much just to hack it up) and I want a little louder exhaust with no drone I've devised a plan. I want to get some input before I jump in. I have a very competent local muffler shop that I trust. My plan includes hacking up the stock system. I'd have them relocate the stock flapper behind the third cat at the same distance as the borla, add the bypass tube around flapper (like the borla) into a new muffler and out behind the wheel with no resonator as I think it quiets the exhaust quite a bit. What do you guys think. I thought about just swapping mufflers but from what I understand you don't get much change in exhaust note from just that. I'm just looking for my truck to sound more like my dad's bone stock '11 6.2l truck.

Has anyone had their flapper relocated with a bypass tube in 8n front of the muffler for a custom system. I have a RCSB truck and there's no GM/ Borla kit for it so I was thinking of having my local muffler shop (very competent) build me something out of the stock parts. I don't want anything loud, just a little rumble and no drone. I won't be deactivating my DOD just for a no drone exhaust.

Has anyone considered Katzkin leather for their truck. I've never really wanted leather before but for some reason I kind of do in this truck. For the money though if there was even one wrinkle or anything I might freak out! I've already ordered a Mud River cover for my dog to ride shotgun. Anyways, here's the Katzkins I think would look cool in my truck.

I wish it had the all terrain red stitching, that would be sweet! I also wish it had the z71 gauges but everything else is sweet! Coming from an '05 SLE I can't even begin to say how much better everything is.

I have a wrapped dash but I'm not sure if it's leather or vinyl, looks good either way.

Is anyone running the Banks or Cold Air Inductions cai? Trying to weigh all the "50 state legal" options but I may just end up having a airaid MIT shipped to my buddy in Washington and having him ship it to me.
