There is a product called gyeon bathe that is a very good product that I use for my ceramic coated truck. Very foamy, very hydrophobic. Not exactly sure what it costs but wanted to recommend that to you guys. So they told me to put the stock air box back on and that the problem is that the MAF sensor got a film of oil on it and can’t read air intake correctly. Also said that the engine was not engineered to get all that extra air. They told me they would clean the sensor and do a re-learn for me. But I had to talk to the service manager to get this “treatment”. The service advisor just told me basically “oh well , you installed an aftermarket cold air intake and that is the problem, we have this problem about 1 time a month. and we can’t do a re-learn to your transmission since there are no updates”......in your case with the 2018 8 speed transmission there is apparently an actual update from GM to help with the hardshifting 2015 Silverado LT Midnight Edition 4.5” CST suspension lift Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m going to try out the manual mode today. I have 34,800 miles or until 7/3/2018 for the 3/36,000 mile warranty. I’m not sure which warranty I should be worried about. So I took my truck into the dealership for my 6 speed transmission shifting horribly, letting off gas while coming to a stop caused a horrible downshift, trying to drift or pushing gas going up a hill it doesn’t know what to do. So I get a call back from the dealership saying my aftermarket cold air intake is the problem. How does this make sense? My personal opinion is the 4.5” fits our trucks the best....it looks soooo nice!!!.... so with my lift I have had it on around 2,000 miles. I’ve had no problems as of yet. I love how it rides, but I also upgraded the front coilovers to fox 2.5’s along with cognito UCA’s and fox 2.0 shocks in the rear. Any other questions please let me know! I am running the 4.5” cst stage 1 kit. But also have fox 2.5 coilovers and cognito upper control arms. With my kit the track width stays factory. Have had everything on for around 2,000 miles and everything is great so far! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
