  1. It did a little bit. But not much at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Zone 6.5 on 17" 33s
  3. I haven't seen a rough country in a while but was a brand that never even thought about. There is a reason certain lifts are certified and they stand behind their products. Not bagging on RC but not a way I'm going. I pick my truck up in a couple hours. I'll post pics when I pick her up. I'm sure my tires are gonna be a bit small as I refused to get rid of tires with 65-70 tread to go to 35" at the moment. Kicking 33"s right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My biggest was the guarantee to cover your truck limited lifetime for the kit but also if the kit causes an issue that the dealer won't cover zone will. Also background zone is the sister company to bds. At close to half the price. This 6-800 diff is the no hassle full lifetime warranty that bds gives. So if you beat the shit out of your truck and break something intentionally bds will replace it no questions asked as zone will not. If there is a manufacturer fail point for the zone kit it will replace it. Haven't heard rough country have any kind of warranty or guarantee like that. Pro comp has a similar guarantee for the factory warranty but I do t think any kind of lifetime warranty on parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If you need new rims because of offset then spacers should do the same and fix the issue cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. This. Also do some reading. Magnuson moss act. some of these dealerships need to get a life. They can't void your entire warranty due to some suspension components Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I have too. But it's nieve to not recognize that can happen. And I've had people look at my truck and tell me a clunk in the rear of my truck could have something to do with the level kit I had put on. So then trying automatically charge me on that fact for diagnostic. I think it comes down to the dealership, and the service writer which works on commission. I wouldn't sweet putting any of that on though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Dealerships try to find something other than them to blame. That being said putting suspension components only void that part of the warranty. There was a case a while back that dealerships were blaming and denying the customer of warranty work by seeing items that had nothing to do with the items installed. The ruling was that if the dealership can prove your aftermarket equipment caused the failure they don't have to cover this up. Sometimes you have to remind the dealership this case happened and the ruling can have them sued real quick. Many stop trying to blame a component that doesn't have anything to do with your problem. Some are stubborn and you gotta go legal. Anyways. You shouldn't have to feel raped by trying to make your truck better and all those components other than cst as I really don't know what that is are way better than stock. Just a dealer being a dealer. Also many kits have factory warranty warranties such as bds, zone and pro Comp that if the dealership doesn't honor they will, and fix it. Just my own 2 cents Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I ran the pro Comp quick lifts and they lasted about a year and started leaking like the oem ranchos so tossing between billies or 2.0 coilovers from fox Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Usually these with oem rims are running a wheel spacer in order to clear spindle or upper arm as when lifting your tires come in naturally so to offset and act like an aftermarket wheel they run spacers to clear Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Finished mine up a couple nights ago. Placement is great. I have a smart cord version that I wanted to mount the button sticking out incognito but where it sits is super easy to silence. Main plug the directions said the farthest left but it's actually the middle purple with white stripe on my 2015 Sierra Z71 SLE . Maybe other truck have different options. A quick poke with a power probe or test light will show you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Was actually told from a few retail places that with billstein coming out with a full coilovers replacement they might not even spool the 6112 for GMs. He said it's possible but with the push backs he thinks the coilovers will come out instead, as the setup for a Tacoma in a 6112 runs about 650.00 so in following the pricing the 6112 won't be cheap for GMs for sure. 13. Like this idea. I was thinking where I was going to pull power. This seems perfect
  14. Ok 17" Method MR306s wrapped with big at/ko2 285/70/17s with procomp zx2108s for what they call 2.75" of lift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Anyone know info for something like this?
  16. Love the idea of a slider if it is big enough to be functional.
  17. 285/70/17 or 75/17 I think 75 will have issues Also looked into 295s but I think there will be an issue until I get my 4.5 lift done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Just leveled nicely with Pro Comp ZX2108 lift struts. They are designed for 2.75" lift. Thanks to some local guys at Socal suspension in El Cajon. In and out with alignment. Next are 17" methods flat black on 285's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I'm actually a couple miles from the only country station in San Diego and this close I can barely pick it up. I move 15 miles away and with buildings and other obstacles including power lines its non existent. My radio skips over it. That's a disappointment but hell I usually don't listen to it anyways Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Lol. Looks like we both are in agreement and about the same experience. Anyways I usually listen to iPod or Sirius anyways Bc radio stations by my house suck on the best of days. I gave up a long time ago. I know those new powered amplified antennas don't seem to do anything and are worse than factory for sure. Have to pay attention. I guess hard to tell here as the reception is bad no matter what. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. ???? I guess I'm a little confused. The aftermarket deck will give you better radio reception? In the many years I've been into audio I don't know I've ever found that to be true. Interesting thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I didn't realize not all had 8" screen. And if someone needs a kenwood double din I have one for sale of wanting to swap out factory. I've also found by changing interior speakers and using a processor for sound, the oem 8" screen does pretty much what I want. Can put cross over in line for mids and highs. I figured if someone wanted a good deck maybe Bc they don't have a 8" screen with all the goodies I then I have one available Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I have a dnx891hd kenwood double din with everything including front and rear cameras gps, iPod, Sirius but after taking out of my Tacoma the GMC minus a front camera it has everything else. I'm just selling my kenwood double din instead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. If im not mistaking and its under warranty most dealerships or lift companies will replace this. ie BDS, Zone, Pro Comp sorry these are the only ones I know of if somehow the dealership snakes there way out of repair, they step in. Isnt this how they work. This is one reason why ive been looking between BDS and Zone myself.
  25. With tapatalk I might not be able to see but did you post specs? If not can you? They look good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
