  1. Hey, Thanks! But I can't find any videos specific to the New body style trucks with the 6 speed. Upon inspection, it sure looks like about 2" of clearance between the bottom of the pan and the top side of the exaust.
  2. Hey, Thanks! Have you tried this method? Sure sounds easier than unfolding the exaust from the 2 manifolds.

  4. Hi. As the title states, I have a 2019 Custom with the 6 Speed Transmission, (5.3 liter) and it's time to change the Trans oil amd Filter. Getting prices from $800 and up from various shops. So I already bought the parts and want to attempt the procedure myself. Has anyone with the same Transmission done this procedure? It sure appears that the pan will clear the exaust pipe during removal, but never done this before, so I'm not certain it will. But yeah, has anyone done this yet on their own that can give me some pointers or tips? Much appreciated!
  5. $300. Used for a few months with a Diablew tune. Replaced factory tune and traded the truck in on a newer Silverado. So can't use this anymore. Shipping to US48 included
  6. I had checked the Head unit screen for updates a few weeks ago and it told me there we r e not any available at that time. But yes, truck is out of warranty by 2 weeks. F--- Me. I just think it's totally ubsurd that we should pay for stupid software updates. When there's an update available for my Windows computer, Microsoft dosent charge for it! But this crook dealership charged 400 bucks for this update and it literally took them less than an hour after diagnosing. Rip off
  7. Software Updates? Just took my 2019 Custom with IOR 7" Stereo in for a problem with the radio, and the dealership told me I needed a "Software Update" and wanted $400 for it. Luckily the dearship that sold me the truck 2 months ago was kind enough to offer me reimbursement for this. But does this make sense? Why in the bloody Hell should we have to pay 400 dollars an hour for Software updates? And, how often in the future will I need more of these?
  8. YeYes Sir! Still have this awesome pi3ce of JL Audio Goodness.s Yes sir!Yes StillYesYes sir! I do still have it. Message me if you're interested. SirYYesesYes sir! I do still havYese it. Message me if you're interested. sirYes sir!Yes sir! Hi there. I have a 2Yes019 Chevrolet Silverado (New Body style) that has the IOR stereo. 7" screen without Sirius XM. I want to purchase the Metra brand wire harness to tap into the factory radio unit under the glove box, to run speaker wires to my DSP and amps. Do you know which wire harness i would need for my application? Thank you kindly. I also plan to purchase many other installation items from you. 8:40 AM
  9. Yeah thanks. 2 Grand for the upgrade is not worth it to me. But you're correct that there just aren't any other options other then the Infotainment.com one.
  10. The link by GETGONE, above is the only solution I can seem to find. 2000 bucks. That's absurd. I'd prefer an aftermarket solution from Kenwood or another car audio brand, but can't find anything on the market.
  11. Hey thanks! Yes I've seen that mounting kit and Pioneer HUs. They look interesting and I wouldn't mind trying one of them. But I wonder how you mount the body of the head unit? Like do you remove the factory radio unit under the glove box and replace it with the Pioneer? Then are there any issues with the rest of the electronics in the truck, or any Check Engine lights? But my 7" IOR Factory Head Unit acts up occasionally. The volume goes up drastically on its own, and every once and a while, the touch screen buttons won't work. The remedy I found for the second problem is to shut off the Ignition to the truck for a few minutes. But thank you kindly for the response!
  12. Just bought a used 2019 Silverado Custom with the 7" base screen. Stereo sounds good for OEM stereo. (Soon to be modified). But every now ant then, the volume goes up substantially for a second or 2, blowing my ears out. Quickly returns to normal volume, but very annoying. Any idea what Stereo part could be causing this? And could a Stereo software update remedy this problem? I assume I'll need to take this up with GM, but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this so I can go to the dealer, armed with information. Thanks All! Rick
  13. This worked for my 2019 Silverado with 7"screen, and my 128GB thumb drive. Thank you for this solution!
  14. JL Audio Stealthbox model SB-GM-SLVD/10TW1/BK. Fits under the rear seat of a 2014 through 2018 Silverado/Sierra Double cab truck like it was built with the truck. Sounds awesome and plays just like new. I'm a SQ guy and no Basshead, so this sub was never played hard. Powered with a 600 watt amp for the past 4 years. Price is $900 and does not include shipping so please message me for a shipping quote. Price for new one is $1400. Thank you for your interest. Rick.
  15. Has anyone switched the Head Unit on a New body style GM truck yet? Crutchfield recommends against it but I have heard from other sources that it can be done. Thanks Rick
  16. Hi. Read through this entire Thread. A lot of good info here. I just bought a 2019 Silverado Custom Double Cab, with the Base 7" head unit (non-Bose). I plan on Audiofrog GS25s in the dash and GB60s in the front doors. Straight midbass in rear door for rear fill as I don't really care for Rear speakers. Helix DSP3 and 2 Helix amps. JL Stealthbox under rear seat. I plan to mount equipment on the rear wall. I've done a lot of DIY SQ systems and am pretty handy with this stuff, but I have a few questions as I plan my build. Questions; 1. Has anyone here used the rear wall of a Double Cab for equipment? I know Crew Cabs are most owners preference here. 2. How are everyone running amp power wires and Ground wires into and out of the cab? Thanks for any help! Rick
  17. Thank you kindly, GETGONE. That is exactly what I was looking for. That price is ridiculous though. I will watch the video and try to figure out what parts and components are needed for the switch and see if it can be done for a lesser price. I'd want to do all the work myself, of course. But thanks for that link! Rick
  18. Hi there. I just bought a 19 Silverado Custom, New Body Style. Came with the 7" screen head unit and NO Satellite radio. Has anyone upgrading from the 7" screen to the 8" Infotainment head unit? If so, what components or parts are involved? Thanks for any help and advice! Rick
