Hello everyone, I just picked up a 2024 High Country 2500HD Duramax on Monday, and last night as I was backing into a parking spot at a restaurant I had noticed the check engine light was on (Truck had just got to 300 miles as I pulled into the restaurant) Luckily I have my small little scan tool with me, and it read the code P2463 - DPF Restriction - Soot. Truck had no messages or anything come up on the DIC, only the check engine light. I cleared the code and drove home (about 35-40 miles) and it never came back on. My main concern is, why would the DPF already be clogged with only 300 miles on the truck? From most people, I have read the truck does regens at about 800+ miles. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

So today my driver side upper ball joint blew out. I have a 3 inch Motofab spacer lift, running the stock UCAs. I am now upgrading to an aftermarket UCA but was wondering if any of yall have food for thought on what type of aftermarket UCA I should go with? Are there any specifics I should look into, as in like bigger or "longer" UCAs to help with the angle the leveling kit causes? I have over 13k miles on this setup with no issues. 3 weeks ago my truck was hit on my driver side, no body damage, only hit and shattered my driver wheel. So my guess is that impact is what weakened my UCA. Any information is well appreciated. Edit: This is on my 2019 RST Z71

Has anyone had issues with their Bluetooth? If I'm connected and my phone gets a notification, such as Email or Facebook, my music through bluetooth will start skipping for about 2 solid minutes then go back to normal, but sometimes it wont and I have to turn off the truck and restart it. Another issue I have is while I'm connected through bluetooth, if I connect my phone to another bluetooth device, it disconnects my phone from the truck itself and acts as if it forgets my phone. I am unable to reconnect my phone, and cant even find it on my phone in the bluetooth pairing list. When this issue happens, it usually wont fix itself until the truck is restarted 3 or more times. That's what I thought about doing until I get the time to get the pipe replaced. It didn't get hot enough to melt the tape?

No, he did not cut it out, he told me he doesn't cut them out anymore. I haven't really looked at it to well, what would be best to use to set the valve opened?

Traded in my 2016 the other day to finally get myself a 2019 RST Z71. I've always wanted the Cajun Red Tintcoat color since they came out with it, especially on the 2019. Put my 33s from the 2016 onto the stock rims. (My 20x12s wouldn't fit due to the bigger brake calipers) Muffler delete Fog light mod (Fogs stay on when high beam engaged) Many more mods will be done, just gotta get the time. So far in love with the 19, a very nice upgrade from the 16.

Does removing the flapper valve give it any better sound? I did a muffler delete on my new 2019, but the muffler shop didn't cut out the valve and it's still pretty quiet. I am for sure going to get those mesh screens cut out next and replaced with normal pipe, but was wondering if I should have him cut out the valve as well?

Rough Country makes a 30" curved light bar kit for the grill. Bolts right up perfectly, have one on mine.

I tried getting into this one, but I am entirely too upside down on my 16, so I wont be able to pick me up a 19 for a few years probably. Very upsetting.
