  1. I agree...but won't stop me from stating mine either. Take care.
  2. Ok boomer, I can assure you I am no snowflake. Just letting you know I think that your comment was being an ass for no reason hating on someone's pride and joy. But yes you can voice your opinion as you see fit just as I can. Take care.
  3. In your opinion! Who cares...it's his money and can do what he wants. I grew up in Norcal and we lowered and lifted trucks all the time. To each their own, stop hating.
  4. Nice thank you...yeah they look really clean and low profile.
  5. That looks super clean! What steps are those? Thank you
  6. I had trifecta on my 2015 Colorado and made a huge difference. I got the Diablo for my 2016 5.3 Silverado and was nowhere near as noticeable of difference. I'm tempted to try BlackBear since they address more areas and specific to your vehicle.
  7. Thank you...should of thought of that! haha
  8. How did you get to the bolts without taking the seats out?
  9. Do you have to cut back the fender liners? I noticed they may hang down a bit after removing the air dam. Thanks!
  10. It rides way better, firm but not harsh. Totally happy with the 5100's instead of waiting for who knows how long for the 6112's. I'm not sure to be exact on the top spacer width...I planned on using both top and bottom to get 2.25" but the installer recommended the way I went. Don't regret it at all. The Bilsteins are at the top 1.85" setting. The truck is actually exactly level at 40" front and rear on drivers side. With the airbags I can easily keep level or raise a bit if needed. I prefer the look I have to adding any height in the rear. The airbags actually raised it an inch due to the minimum 5psi but all worked out.
  11. Readylift 2.25" spacer kit with only top spacer installed, Bilstein 5100's on top setting. 17 inch Methods with 285/70R17 Nitto G2's. Rides awesome and achieved the exact look I wanted. Firestone airbags in the back for when I tow my Toy Hauler.
  12. Yeah I realize that but with no load at all isn't it still pretty hard to actually bottom out the rear? I'm keeping 5 psi in them and helped with the ride and ride height.
  13. Probably helps with the 5100s...but yeah mine are the typical looking air bags. Just would prefer to air out completely if no load.
  14. Gotcha...yeah I have the Firestone Ride Rite and even with 10 psi no load makes it very firm in the back. With the stock Rancho's up front gets to bouncing on the freeway a lot. I dropped to the min 5 psi they recommend and its a little better. Curious why even if no load they say you need 5 psi in there.
  15. How much did the air bags raise the rear on yours? Mine raised a good 1" so now I don't think the 5100s won't give me the lift I'd like for a true level.
  16. Yeah they do and the only level kit I see having something similar to incorporate is the Zone kit which is made out of a composite...but the lip is super small. If it was machined out of aluminum and substantial would make me feel better. Not that I will be mashing this thing off-road but still better piece of mind.
  17. Ok think I found one that showed the little ridges that get eliminated when you put in the lower spacer. https://goo.gl/images/VOSSxk
  18. Question: Has anyone noticed that the lower control arms have notches that the lower crossbar of the strut sits against when bolted down...and the level kit lower spacer plates don't have one built in and essentially makes the bolts bear all the force? Is this something to be concerned about and how strong are those bolts? Sorry if a little confusing just doesn't seem to be the best design. Would like to hear opinions if this matters at all. I have the ReadyLift 2.25 waiting to install once my wheels come in since the Bilstein 6112's arent out yet and noticed this. I'll try to find a pic.
  19. Doesn't every pound of un-sprung weight equate to something like 10 pounds of sprung weight?...so if that's true 60lbs would be a noticeable difference. I'm probably wrong with the conversion but don't thing it's 1 for 1.
  20. Dang 2014, I would have given up if I was waiting since then!
  21. Tell me if this is a dumb idea. Could I get the 5100's for the front and the 5160's for the rear for the time being and then when the 6112's come out switch them? At least wouldn't be a total loss getting all 5100's around and have to buy a complete new set when I upgrade. Thanks!
