From my personal experience... I had a 17 5.3 8speed Silverado with 3.42 and I upgraded tire size to 33's....the truck was amazing no struggle whatsoever and the mpg drop was minimal Now with my 19 5.3 8speed AT4...I have the 3.23 and upgraded to 34's lol....mpg's took a big hit... Overall what I want to point out is if you have the option of going 10 speed and 3.42....then you score the best of both worlds. However, if the truck you want only has 10 speeds and 3.23 gears...you should be totally fine. Also, if you plan to leave her stock...3.23's should be better for optimal gas mileage.

Some of the things available now for our gen are the exhaust gm sells that is supposed to add up to 10hp and 6lb of torque for the 5.3L engine. 2019 Sierra 1500 Crew or Extended Cab Performance Exhaust, 5.3L, Dual Rear, Quad Chrome Tips | 19419435 (shopchevyparts.com) Another fun one that people are using lately is the pulsar LT inline control Module. With several features including adjusting the pedal sensitivity. Pulsar LT for 19-20 GM Gas Trucks - Superchips And last of course you could look into and air intake to pair up well with the exhaust above you can go with the GM intake: 2019 Sierra 1500 Air Intake, Performance, Cold Air, 5.3L Engine | 84789802 (shopchevyparts.com) or with any other competitors. I personally have the Air Aid intake pipe with a drop in Air aid filter only because I found it on a very good deal at 4wheelparts.com plus they claim an additional 8.8hp and 13.1lb torque on the 6.2L so perhaps at least half of that on the 5.3L AIR-200-782_dyno.pdf (kandn.com)

Scored this bad boy from 4wheelparts.com....shipped for free and 5%off coupon code....came out to $187...not a bad deal considering retail is $269. This is the dry filter version. I noticed a bit of more noise of noice of course. Good rumble that is and a cleaner look on the engine bay. My 19 8spd/5.3 has been overall very smooth. It has done the hard shift coming out of my driveway very rarely in the 18 months I have owned it. I have 19k miles on it and It sure has been much smoother than my 17 8spd/5.3 Although I do wish I could have the 10speed because if you plan to upgrade tires the 3.23 gears will go better with those extra speeds. Yes sometimes it rubs on the fender liner at full lock turns. No biggy...i just need to zip tie it a bit back further.

Beautiful truck...love the black wheels. 1.5” should be fine....2” many reported upper arm failures...they to sell the 1.75” ready lift that includes the upper arms but does nothing to correct the cv angles. So in my opinion a 1.5” puts a tad less stress the cv joints and ball joints. You could throw in the 1.5 with upper control arms as well....that’s my plan. Leaning towards rough country. They have a nice setup and have great reviews.

They don’t look bad but there has been alot of UCA failures with 2” of level on At4 and TB....I am planning on upgrading to the Rough Country arms even though I have the 1.5”....it will make me feel safer on longer road trips.

This is leveled with the stock duratracs.

I haven’t but according to tiresize.com my 3.23 gears need to be changed to 3.42 to be okay with my 34.25” tires. I think 3.73 and you will be fine. 4.10 might be overkill especially on gas mileage.

I have had the 1.5” level for a year now and about 12k miles. I would still like to upgrade the UCA just because of the failure’s I have seen on FB but you are correct all the one’s I have seen failed are 2” level spacers which is what may be helping my controls stay okay so far. Hope it stays that way until I upgrade

The upper control arms only fix the upper ball joint angles but the cv angles are not addressed at all. That’s why I kept my 1.5” motofab level and plan to simply upgrade my control arms. The 2” kits do come with control arms already but they also push those cv angles another half inch and I like how my angles currently look. Now 35x12.5r18 are pretty wide depending on the brand...so they may hit on the upper ball joint which could be fixed with some wheel spacers. My 12” wide tires are about 3/8” away from the ball joint. They 35s are typically 34.5” tall so you would probably rub on the fender liners or mud guards. My 34.25” tall tires have about a 1/2” on each side at full lock. I guess what I am trying to say is go look on tiresize.com or the manufactures website for the actual specs so you can see what are it’s true dimensions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The duratracs are narrower at 11.8” than my cooper evolution MT at 12” however they are slightly taller at 34.3” vs 34.25” not a big difference but without a level they may rub. Although as you mentioned there has been members running this size with no trouble and no level as you wish. You have the trailboss which I believe has more space. You could have discount tire test fit them if you have one near. Or if you decide to order them, well worse case scenario you slap in a level perhaps just a 1” to help with the clearance. 1.5” motofab level. With the GM “lift” that this the AT4/TB come with my ball joints were completely flat. After the 1.5” lower spacer they moved a bit still look good. The cv angles also were flat before and look decent after level. The 2” from ready lift does correct the control arms with new replacement but pushes the cv angles even more. Have been running motofab level for a year now on stock duratrac. Just installed 295/70 cooper evolution MT and they clear very well. They are 61.5 lbs which are pretty light compared to others in the same specs weighing on 70+....they measure 34.25”x12”....I could install a 1/4” or 3/8” wheel spacer but I think I will leave it like those for now. I also have a 5.3.AT4....sorry I know you asked for 6.2....but just wanted to help. Mine came with the stock duratracs and I get about 15.3mpg mixed city/hwy.....I added a 1.5” leveling motofab lower spacer and the mpgs remained the same. I was expecting a difference but it did not affect them at all. Been running the level with the stock tires for about 10k miles now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you have a part number for those center caps? they look so glossy...shop chevy parts has them but the image shows them in a matte black. I want the GMC red like you originally had to put on my 18" AT4 wheels.

Checked out your tire specs and they come out to 34.29x11.77...I am quite astonished that they are rubbing as they are narrower than the mastercrafts. Have you had the truck aligned? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have the motofab 1.5 bottom spacer installed. When I installed the spacers I did not remove the axle nut however I didn’t have the remove the strut as it is the bottom spacer. The axle did pop out as I dropped down the spindle and I got scared...I installed the bottom spacer and then turned the axle straight again and pushed it back into place all was good and it did give me room to install new bolts. There are 1” motofab kits on ebay that should fit it says up to 2019 but it should fit even on 2020 as my kit said 2018 and fits my 2019. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
