  8. FYI: I just purchased a 2017 Sierra 1500 4x4 SLT and requested the dealership to install a leveling kit. They chose the Ready Lift 2.25". My tires rub the upper control arm when at full lock. I am running factory tires and wheels.
  9. Well Tyler, apparently reading and comprehension was not your strong suit in school. At the time of my OP nothing had been installed yet. Being that my truck is a 2017 there is not much literature related to my inquiry. Anyway, my dealership installed a 2" leveling kit and rear air bags today, and after discussing further with them they recommend a 275/60r20. In conclusion, I truly hope that you can forgive me for my original post!
  10. I just made the transition from Ford to GMC via 2017 Sierra 1500 SLT Z71. I have an appointment tomorrow to have a 2" leveling kit installed. I've read that after installation the tires may rub on the upper control arm even with factory tires and wheels (275/55R20). If that is the case what is the remedy? Spacers? What brand and what width? 1.75? What is the largest tire I can run without rub? Thanks!! I want to clarify that I have used the "search" feature but I don't have time to filter through 1000+ pages of information!
  11. Howdy folks, I am a new GMC owner from East, TX. Made the swap from Ford to GMC a few days ago, and to be honest I do not know why!! Maybe just a change of scenery? Coming from a 2013 4x4 Ecoboost, the GMC will have big shoes to fill when it comes time to hook up to my 25' bay boat or camper. I am excited to see what she has to offer! Who knows maybe I'll become a lifer, either way I am looking forward to the GM experience. -EASTEXAS
