Yes I was very surprised when I was driving home in my truck while I was passing there was no blind spot indicator in the mirrors like I have seen on almost every new vehicle, I just figured oh well instead of the mrrors the vehicle icon under the odometer was used for blindspot detection as well as everything else.
I also set my mirrors like TJay74 does, plus that little blind spot mirror on the drivers side door mirror helps a bunch, just wish that would have put it on the passenger side as well.
GM needs a locking gas cap for the cap-less fuel system, Ford sure seems to have their ducks in a row much better than GM does for their trucks that I have seen by far.
Another thing I have noticed since buying this new GM especially when purchasing accessories.
Ford accessories you purchase and you install.
GM accessories you purchase, you assemble, you drill holes in your new truck, then you install.
Yep I removed the dealers sign and license plates off my truck before I made it out of their state
This badge looks kinda bland and I was hoping to find something that looks nicer to go with the truck and if I do I most likely will change it out.
Hooray the mysql has been acting weird on the site most of the morning, finally got to load the image.
Thank you sir I will pick them one up then, I would say they will not use it much in the summer with the longer days, but it sounds perfect for them for Fall and Winter.
Question do you leave your back-up buddy installed year round? I am thinking about picking this up for my parents truck so they can see better while backing up.
Same here, I was going to order a Totron with wireless remote so I could program it to the homelink system and was looking at mounting locations to find the louvers
Same with me, different expiernce seeing the tac moving that much.
I know at 79mph my truck is only showing 1800rpm, which I have not seen below 2200 rpm in a very long time at that speed.
Yes that would be wonderful, my previous bak-flip when I purchased it was called the HD and it only leaks a tad at the tailgate with nothing coming in the front installed on a 06 F-150.
The new F1 which I just installed last week I am suspecting it will leak a tad at the corners in the front and also around the tailgate on my GMC, however I think I could prevent quite a bit of leakage on the front of the bed corners if I put some black sealant in between the rubber flaps where they meet.
Also I want to note that on all of my bak-flips and others I help installed that were not mine. I ordered and had the others order and installed a extra set of track clamps which was more evenly spaced and had four clamps on each side instead of three thus holding the bak-flip tracks closer and tigher to the top of the bed rails.
Thanks again the Phillips 194 arrived yesteday and can confirm they work perfectly in a 2017 for plate lights.
Eagerly awaiting the two sets of Phillips 921 and 1N4004 diodes to arrive.
