  1. That's Great for you and the several others. But for the people that have this vibration it very annoying. (1) too know other trucks don't or some haven't noticed.(2) nobody from GM Customer service has been on here to help anybody. If there is a fix it would be great. a lot of people have tried different thing and no luck. A lot of $$$$ and time spent. anybody have a success story?
  2. Yes. GM has several bad Issue's. I had a 2014 gmc sierra 4x4 crew. issues at 31000 miles. of course the vibration issue was the worst. wife and kids complained of headache from vibration everytime. radiator leak from so called thermostat cycles.36xxx miles. poor radio reception and seat movement. I have had all gm vehicels till now. this is by far the worst truck i have ever owned. 41xxx miles traded for 2017 ram 2500. love the ride over the gmc. no vibration and can finally enjoy driving. i was a die hard gm guy but a person can only take so much. the problem is gone now that the gmc is gone. This was the fastest way for me not to have to deal with dealers and wasted trips. and the headaches. Good luck to all who have these issues cause it's not enjoyable at all.
  3. well drove my 2014 gmc crew cab 1500 today.it has 39xxx miles. when i bought the truck noticed the vibration at 30xxx miles , was told it was tires. should've had them put tires on it before buying. had new tires installed and same vibration from 45-75 on acceleration , cruse, or deceleration. also bought a set of gm take off wheels. still vibration same speed ,rpm. new road with windows up sounds like driving down a gravel road. well long story short drove about 200 miles and on the way home came to a stop light and felt like an engine miss remind u i am not moving, this only happened for a couple seconds and gone. drove to the next light and did it again, just for a couple seconds. know i have worked for a gm dealership for 15 years. this is the same vibration i would bet my axx. I dont know if converter vibration or something else in engine rotating assembly.I have been waiting patiently for a fix from gm. I think they are looking in the wrong spot. this just happened for the first time today that i noticed but allways had the vibration in v4 or v8. really disappointed in this truck . rad leak at 37xxx miles. was not under warranty cause assembled in mexico. vibration. poor radio reception. money wasted, not worth the head ache. the more i drive the more aggravated i become.
  4. I was told to keep my receipts and if gm decided to include other vin's than I could be reimbursed. (must be done by gmc dealer) the special coverage is only a couple months old.
  5. My want to have your dealer ck the vin to see if it is included in the TSB. I was charged $100.00 for diagnostics to verify it was the radiator. Cause mine was not u.s. Assembled. Funny thing is I was told Before I even dropped the truck off it was powertain warranty. it's a long story.
  6. I am told from 2 different dealers that its 3/36. Why im not sure why. #1513a for 2015 is powertrain. It feels like run around.
  7. TSB #1513 is on 2014 TSB#1513A is on 2015 powertrain warranty #15829 special coverage is on 2014 5year 100000 miles not sure if the special coverage supersedes the #1513
  8. This is the answer I got from gmc customer service. Truly Ridiculous.
  9. just an FYI. not all 2014 trucks are included. my 2014 gmc 1500 with 37500 miles has the smell also. Was at the dealer 1/26/17. Was told radiator is the issue. 1200.00 repair to replace radiator and thermostat, coolant ect. long story short mine was assembled in mexico and is not included in a tsb. or special coverage for radiator leak. REALLY!!!
