Like I’ve said before, I really like that paint chrome combo that you did on the front end. It’s really got me considering doing it on my own. However the one little detail that I like the most is the LT badge in the grille. I’ve got to know more about it, where did you get it and how did you fasten it to the grille. I’ve been wanting to add something like that ever since I bought by truck. The only options that I have come across is the Z71 emblem. But I don’t have a Z71 and don’t want to add a Z71 emblem… I’ve played around with the idea of something like the grille emblems with the cubic inch like I have on my ‘76 stepside 327 Grille Emblem.pdf

I like both the 15 front end AND the 16 front end. But I guess what I just don’t understand is… why not just buy a 2015 if you liked that style better?

Thanks for the write up and info. I might consider doing one myself too. Anyone have any pictures of a chrome hook installed?
