  1. I have to agree that this bothers the heck out of me as well. I assume it's engine heat that I'm mostly getting out of those vents even if I have it set to off or cold (no a/c on.) It's extremely warm and sometimes forces me to turn on the a/c on a day that shouldn't require it. The vents just happen be located in a place where I rest my hands on the wheel and I just feel hot air constantly blowing out of it. I'm living with it but just wanted to let ya know you're not alone in your observation. Cheers!
  2. I was just headed to these forums to write up the same complaint. 2017 GMC Sierra Elevation and it pops SO loud every time I backup with the steering wheel turned. I originally thought it was a front end problem but it's definitely coming from the rear. Wasn't sure if it was the rear end lock engaging but I have to hear it at least 3 times a day in the areas I park. 3 times a day I get frustrated and discouraged with a truck that has only 3000 miles on it. Probably headed to the dealer but it doesn't sound like I'll be getting much help there until a service bulletin of some sort is released. Thanks for posting.
