  1. Is there a performance difference? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. My engine air filter in my 2019 Sierra AT4 6.2L has an extra filter on the bottom. My replacement filter does not. Has anyone ever seen this. Is it because it’s an AT4? Do I need to get the same filter? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Figured I’d report back in to ease some worries. I had my window replaced over two months ago. The dealership sent my truck to their glass/collision division and they replaced the window. All is good. No leaks. They did a great job. Seems like anything in life, need the right people doing the job.
  4. First car wash after having the window replaced. No leaks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Has your new one been leak free?!
  6. The dealership's glass company replaced my window today. It took them about half a day. They said that they have done quite a few now and none have leaked after. They did a fantastic job. Even returned my truck to my workplace for me. Waiting a couple of days before I run it through the car wash.
  7. That's super frustrating.
  8. I've also got the leak on a 2019 AT4. Took it to the dealer on Monday for recalls as well as the window leak. The window is on back order so they had me pick my truck up while we wait for the window. It's winter with no precipitation in the forecast so I'm fine there. They have their glass department remove and install a new window. Hopefully I'm good to go once they get the new window installed. Side note - I did not have any damage to the headliner or floor. Leak must not be as bad as others. Also the headliner is black so it wouldn't show like a gray one would.
  9. I had 22s on my Silverado and now my AT4 has 20s. I actually didn't want the 22s on the Silverado but the package came with it. Now, after having both the 22s and 20s, I will never buy 22s on a truck again. Too rough and hard on the truck when you are on rough roads. I personally think 20s are a perfect balance of looks and function.
  10. Traded in my 2017 Silverado Rally 2 with the 5.3 - 6 speed for a 2019 AT4 with the 6.2 - 10 speed. What wise decision that was!
  11. What tires are those? Is that stock height? Nice looking truck!
  12. I had a check engine light. The tick cane back and seemed worse. I traded it in. Couldn’t deal with the tick any longer.
  13. Finally got this fixed on my truck. Fuel injectors. My truck threw a p050d code and misfire code. Turns out two injectors needed to be replaced. No more tick!
  14. To keep the running boards or not...
  15. Guys, -UPDATE- I dropped my truck off at the dealership because the noise was the worst it has ever been. Well as I'm on my way to the dealership of the course it goes away and they can't replicate it. I did take a video when it was doing it so I had that to show them. Well anyways they reported it to GM and asked what they should do and it turns out that GM has created a service bulletin 6 weeks ago looking into a fix. Their engineers are currently looking into all options. They claim it is related to the Active Fuel Management. Which in turn is affecting the transmission, drive quality, and everything else that is tied in with fuel delivery ect. So, fingers crossed it gets resolved soon. The dealer is going to contact me when they come up with a fix. They told me the bulletin was for 2017 and 2018 models of Sierra/Silverados. It was for the V6 and both V8. I was to the point where I was going to start test driving Fords. I guess I will wait a month or so.
  16. Is there a valve or solenoid used for the Active Fuel Management system? It seem that it is something with that since it is related to being in V4 and V8 mode. I've also noticed when the tick is loudest the truck bogs and surges. When the tick isn't present the truck runs smoother. It seems like it all has to do with the fuel delivery.
  17. Fuel feed line did nothing to fix them problem....
  18. Did you ever figure out the footwell ticking issue?

    1. hotrdlx

I have had no luck finding what causes the noise however it has gotten worse with the more miles i drive. Now that im out of warranty i guess im stuck listening to it until i trade it in.

  19. So my truck still makes the noise. Fuel feed pipe didn’t work. It sounds like it’s literally right below my feet. Most annoying sound in the world. Bummer too because it’s such a nice looking truck.
  20. The tick is mostly gone. And by that I mean that I can hear it very faintly once in a while but it seems that it goes to V8 mode or upshifts right away. If I didn’t know about the tick I wouldn’t know it was there. Much improved!
  21. It’s located between the chassis fuel line and the high pressure fuel pump. It seems to have done the trick on mine. I’ll keep you posted as I drive it throughout the next week. The TSB was PIP5395D.
  22. They changed my fuel feed pipe and that seems to have fixed the issue!
  23. Ok so this is weird...I’ve ran my heat in my truck for the past 6 months because i live in Minnesota and it’s be winter that never ends. Well today it was nice enough to have the climate control system off and the truck didn’t make the noise!?! Could it be that it has something to do with running the interior fan???
