  1. Thanks, and same to you! I wanted a Z71... Couldn't sell it to the wife tho
  2. Thanks! Honestly I didn't consider galvanic corrosion an issue as the parts are thoroughly powder coated. But I will shoot them an email to follow up.
  3. So, I wanted to contribute here. I ordered a kit from MotoFab as I did not like the idea of putting plastics in a load bearing situation. Got the CH-2LM, nice solid blocks of billet aluminum for a very similar price. Seems more durable, looks just as good, and no appreciable price difference to the plastic chunks sold by the other big name in truck lifts...
  4. Thanks!!! Not that I have found so far. Only been a day. I opted for the CH-2LM from MotoFab over R.C., the R.C. parts looked like injection moulded plastic which made me uncomfortable. The MotoFab kits are billet aluminum and seemed a more sensible choice for placement in a suspension. Not knocking them (R.C.) or anything, and if they are steel that's fine, but they sure look like they had those lines all the way around like you see on moulded plastic parts. Should also mention the directions stated to install the bolts 'head down', which to me means head at the bottom and threads pointed up. I couldn't get the nuts to fit, and after emailing the support team they sent me the below linked video and started to drop them in from the top. Once I did this, installation was a cinch. You'll need to raise the control arm and spindle up with a jack, and have a long prybar handy to hook in the spring and persuade the upper ball joint down into the spindle. Turn the nut on to the ball joint a turn or two, and torque down lower strut bolts, then the uppers. I used some blue Loctite on the nuts just to be sure they don't back off.
  5. Noob here, but I wanted to gloat a little on my 2017 GMC Sierra :-) This is date of purchase Adding the GM bed light option kit Adding AVS Ventshades Tyger Auto Steprails Rails and ventshades in AVS Bugflector Before installation of Motofab 2" level kit After Full Body Polish
  6. So I hate to be the guy that beats a dead truck, but these will apply for all the K2XX platform trucks, including the '17 Sierra? I ask because I called one local dealer, and they were rather reluctant to tell me anything at all about what the service manual contains. So I called another, and they've been unable to find anything in their FSM. So I called the local Tire Discounter and they gave me Upper Strut Mount Bolts - 89 Ft Lbs Tie Rod End Nut - 1st Pass 26 Ft Lbs, 2nd Pass 85-100 degrees Sway Bar Nut - 48 Ft Lbs Upper Ball Joint - 1st Pass 85 Ft Lbs, 2nd Pass 85-100 degrees And I felt like 85 ft lbs was just asking to lock up a ball joint... EDIT: So I talked to a tech at the dealership I purchased from and confirmed that the specs listed on p1 of this post are in fact for all K2XX Light Duty pickups. :-) So the installation continues...
