  1. Not really. I did say "nice truck". ?
  2. You put RC coilovers on a BDS lift and then slapped a BDS sticker on them?!?! ??? You should be pistol-whipped and BDS should sue you for "defamation of character"! ? Nice truck though. ?
  3. I was able to isolate it to the shift interlock solenoid. If you telescope the steering wheel all the way out, you can stick your finger in there and touch the solenoid. It is definitely loudly clicking with each slight touch of the brake. It wasn't doing it before this weekend. So either the solenoid is failing or there was a dab of grease on the contact points that has worn off. Hard to believe either way since truck only has 2700 miles on it.
  4. This is quite interesting. My 2019 didn't have factory blocks either but it has little 1/4" thick tapered shims. Yours doesn't have them. ReadyLift told me to remove them and I was hesitant to do so because everyone else with same lift has them still installed.
  5. Finalized the Amp steps install...wired up the lights and perfected the harness routing/securing.
  6. Something definitely changed with mine. I can hear it very distinctly now. Never noticed it until today.
  7. Anyone else have a very audible "clicking" from within the steering column when you touch the brake pedal? It only does it when in "park". It just started doing it today for the first time. It sounds like a relay clicking but I'm wondering why it just started doing it today.
  8. eBay, Amazon, any of the online GM parts houses...
  9. Nice. Mine's been sitting in my garage for a month. I was dreading pulling the grille off. So, you just took the upper plastic cover piece off was was able to reach in behind the grille? Did you get the wiring secured so it is out of view?
  10. What 1/4" spacers are you running on the front?
  11. It's not the bed...it's the cab. The back, left corner of the bed needs to be shimmed up. If you move the bed on one side to align, the other side is affected. There is a member who successfully had his dealer fix this issue and it involves shimming/moving the cab, not so much the bed. I'm ultra-OCD so this constantly annoys me but I'm not sure I want the dealer lifting my cab. I'm sure that would affect other aspects of the truck.
  12. Do you pretend it's a T1 while driving it? ?
  13. Thanks for sharing but wrong truck, wrong lift, and wrong thread.
  14. I'll just snatch the damn things out and see what it does.
  15. Yep....I know mine is installed the correct direction because I didn't remove them....my question is whether the things even need to be installed or not. ReadyLift says remove them, SuperLift says remove them....everyone else says keep them in place.
  16. Mine has the thin part of the shims facing the rear of the truck.
  17. The shim is held in place by the leaf spring centering pin. The pin has to be removed to slide the shim off and then the pin is reinstalled. The Pro Comp instructions say "DO NOT remove the shim or adjust it's orientation". The SuperLift instructions say to remove it completely. Some kits have flat blocks and some have tapered blocks so it's hard to standardize what is correct here.
  18. Found this paragraph in the ProComp instructions.... As shown in PHOTO B, place the 4” (95- 401) blocks in position. Make sure the pin in the block is in the hole of the axle housing spring pad. The short end of the block goes toward the front of the vehicle. Install the block so the pinion moves up. DO NOT remove the factory axle wedge or alter its orientation. NOTE: The block pins may need to be ground down so that the blocks sit flat on the axle housing spring pads. That muddies the water a bit, but since ReadyLIFT says to remove them, I guess I will remove them. It would help if I could speak to someone there who designed the kit, but all I can get are the customer service girls and I can't help but think they are just guessing.
  19. I have a 2019 Z71 LTZ. I've had the ReadyLIFT SST 4" lift on my truck for a couple hundred miles. It is aligned perfectly to the recommended specifications. The truck drives great, tracks straight, and has no shimmy/shake/vibration/etc. evident in the front-end or steering wheel. BUT..... At around 60 mph (+/- 5 mph), there is a rumble/vibration felt. I believe it is coming from the rear-end as a result of improper pinion angle. I *think* I can even hear the slight rumble/roar more when I turn my ear towards the back of the truck. When I was installing the kit, I noticed there were two thin shims installed under the leaf springs from the factory. There was no mention in the instructions to remove them. In fact, one of the photos in the instructions clearly shows these shims left in place, so I too left them in place. I contacted ReadyLIFT about this issue and they "STRONGLY BELIEVE" (their words) I should remove those shims and that they are likely causing the vibration. I asked why it wasn't mentioned in their instructions and they said they have not encountered this issue before. They said the tapered blocks are supposed to correct it. The factory shims basically negate the taper of the ReadyLIFT blocks and maybe that's the culprit? I am going to remove the shims this weekend and see how it goes but I wanted to check here and see if others with lifted trucks have these factory shims installed above the blocks or not - a poll of sorts before I dive into disassembling it. I checked the installation instructions for BDS, Zone, SuperLift, etc. to compare. SuperLift is the only one that specifically states to remove the factory shims. They all appear to utilize flat blocks though. See pic of shim:
  20. Ionic Automotive 41 series. $250. I just ordered some myself!
  21. Mine is the same way. Super minor cosmetic issue and really not worth the dealer screwing up something more important trying to lift and adjust the cab and/or bed. Certainly not worth a buy-back in my opinion.
