    Does anyone else with a crew cab truck know what the purpose of these strips of white plastic is? They are located on the back of each cab corner between the cab and bed. My guess is they were to protect the cab when the bed was placed on the frame? They are starting to curl and peel off. There is nothing under them but paint and nasty, sticky adhesive.

    Drove around town with a laptop hooked up for like the 20th f***ing time trying to dial in Whipple calibration.

    My truck is lifted 6.5" and the dealer had no issue changing the pump. There are no brackets in the way of the pump. If anything, it makes the replacement easier.

    You're welcome man. As for the bolt torque, I couldn't find the setting anywhere so I just cranked it down good 'n tight. Then one extra grunt. It's not coming apart.

    Installed! Just need to purge coolant system and put new plugs back in. Then, upload tune and start it!!!

    Forget the freaking dealer! Just replacing the boot isn't going to do it. See my simple fix instructions in this thread. Go to the store and get you some synthetic grease and take 10 minutes of your time to fix it. If you own a 10mm wrench and have a functioning central nervous system, you can do this!
