    I just spoke with Kirk at Rough Country and he confirmed they are releasing a bolt-on kit for trucks WITH the active shutter system! Yay!

    And how did you accomplish this??? Did you cut up the shutter system to leave the motor and stops in place? I saw another member who trimmed the shutters to clear the light bar and left the rest in place.

    Listen to your mentor carefully.... Call Specmo to order and they will ship straight to Chris. You have to go to his website first and place an order and pay to get an order number. Specmo will need to know that number to put it on the package.

    They are model year specific so this one will not work. Scan back through the thread and look for Chris White's list of applicable part numbers for each year.

    Elaborate on this please. I'm not happy with how mine sits either. I have the dual exit behind the passenger wheel version and the tips angle upward. I'd like them to angle slightly downward. Looks dumb right now.

    Flipped my rear Fox 2.0 shocks over because...well, it just looks better with body up/shaft down and everyone told me they were upside-down before! The instructions clearly state they can mount in either orientation, but they do look better this way and there is less unsprung weight. Also, I touched up some spots in the frame wax with Nox-Rust while under there. Fox 2.5 DSC coilovers will be here Tuesday. I'm sure those will be a treat to install, but I'm hoping it isn't too bad.

    Aftermarket UCAs are not needed with the BDS lift. You'll have the same wheel travel you have stock.

    I admire your risk-taking attitude and optimism! Here's hoping you have no regrets. I must be in the minority here, or I'm not as big a GM fanboy as some, but there is NO WAY I would order a first-gen of a totally redesigned vehicle without seeing it and driving it firsthand.
