  8. Vibration gone . !
  9. i ordered a 5 " diameter aluminum one piece instead will be here this week from my local drive line shop .
  10. I have not had my driveshaft balanced yet switching my axles made a hugee difference almost perfect i will be buying a 2 piece driveshaft eventually so i am not going to waste my money on getting mine re balanced . This way if it is a backlash issue or a balancing issue the 2 piece unit will get rid of the vibration transfer .
  11. hmm K sounds good i have a appointment set for next week at a local drive line shop to have my driveshaft checked maybe ill have them look at my diff at the same time . Thanks for the reply .
  12. I have AFM disabled on my truck . and i just gave the truck a bit of gas and it dropped down a gear but stayed at the same speed made the vibrations completely go away until i let off the gas .
  13. Anyone notice that there vibration goes away depending on what gear the transmission is in ? i was on the highway this morning and at low throttle high gear i would get a vibration but at high engine rpm and a lower gear the vibration would temporarily go away .? anyone notice this or just me ? same vehicle speed .
  14. 4x4 double cab 5.3 . I am going to bring my driveshaft in to check for balance next too see if i can 100% fix my issue .
  15. Part # YAG15812663
  16. 95% Vibration free center console will shake just the lightest at 115kmh plus now and i can no longer feel a vibration in the floor . I am thinking one of my back tires may be slightly out of balance i am going to try rotating front to back see if that fixes the last little bit of shake .
  17. Just put my Yukon axles in yesterday so far the road feel is completely different it's really hard to explain . Going to work tommorow so I will finally be able to get the truck to 110kmh plus speeds to see how it is . I'll let you know if this fixed my issues .
  18. Yeah i had called the dealer and there part # in the last year has changed on there rear axles for the 2014 plus sierra silverado . Which makes me think they have since put a upgraded part into there system .
  19. I haven't had time to read through all 800 plus pages of this thread to see what everyone has said but i thought i would give my feed back . I have a 2016 sierra elevation WT 5.3 4x4 double cab 5.3 . I started by leveling my truck 2.5" no vibrations had stock wheels 20" with Michelin tires . then i put a lift block in the back of my truck 1" taller then factory was a readylift unit again no issues no vibrations . Next thing i did to the truck was put bigger tires they were firestone 34" tires that is when i first noticed that it had started driving different . Thought it was something to to with pinion angle . so i took the rear blocks out put the factory ones in without any change .. Next thing i did was have the tires re-balanced had this done twice with the firestones no such luck . bought some Amp tires made the vibration 100% worse had those re-balanced 3 times then finally had them take them back and got new rims xd bully wheels in 20" and 35" toyo open country tires . Center console shake almost gone id say 90% . all in all i finally took a look at the rear axles because my vibration was changing depending on the different wheel setups i had tried sure enough the axle flanges are way out of round and are not true as in straight . i am hoping to have my Yukon replacements soon . Also i tried putting air shocks in the rear and adding air pressure to see what would happen vibrations got a lot worse with added psi and better with less to no psi .
  20. Anyone replace there axles with these new Yukon ones and had good luck ?
