  1. I’ve had two sets of Nitto Ridge Grapplers, both had their siping wear very fast and started slipping with almost 15k - 16k miles on them, you’d be better off with KO2’s. KO2’s have siping that runs straight through the lugs The Nitto Ridge Grapplers siping reminds me of an after thought and wear quickly New With 16k miles on them, siping wearing prematurely creating slippery nerve racking moments. There was a study done by a marketing firm some years back, people prefer the chunky sidewall and that’s why Nitto Ridge Grapplers became such a big hit but it’s a phase, stick with experience and you’ll be fine. 2. Any noticeable loss of mpg’s? Sent from Above
  3. You’re not running stock OEM size, you must be leveled running 65 instead of 60’s correct? Sent from Above
  4. I posted my size as my OCD with tires has me always looking to compare. Look up your tire size and see for yourself. Michelin Defenders have an enormous following specifically for their long life, ride comfort and great traction. These are the newest design and just as the Defenders were advertised as better for high torque use, so are these. Sent from Above

  10. Aside of using a gram filter, You’ve got yourself a keeper, congrats! Sent from Above
  11. In my experience, past and present, drilling new holes on any of the brackets is an “individually” optional. In my case, I drilled new holes and used stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to help lessen the possibility of any future rust. Sent from Above
  12. Looks great! Sent from Above
  13. That’s great that you’ve got a good relationship with your local Goodyear tire store, doesn’t change the fact that Goodyear oem tires are junk! Happy New Year [emoji312][emoji323][emoji324] Sent from Above
  14. The KO’s and KO2’s have always had the same but there’s more to it than just siping, imho, tire chemicals compound has a lot to do with it. Ever notice a new tire not gripping well? Nope, they’ve got a layer of performance enhanced compounds until you hit approximately 20k miles in them. The Nitto Ridge Grapplers were great in the beginning, they sucked at 16k miles. Im going to be adding weight to my rear if and “when” these new KO2’s start to slip, never had issues before but it’s what I’m going to do if and when it happens and see if that helps any. Right now, I’m digging the Cooper AT3’s XLT, excellent reviews, lighter and taller tire from the KO2’s. Sent from Above
  15. Nittos Ridge Grapplers when new, look at the siping in the lugs At only 16k miles, the siping started to disappear causing me to slide a lot KO2’s have siping that runs straight through the lugs Sent from Above
  16. Avoid the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and their cousins lol Sent from Above
  17. Not worth the money, they’re ok in the sand, not at all any better than the Defenders in light mud, had them on my DMax, wasn’t at all impressed. I’d go for the KO2’s or Coopers Sent from Above
  18. The defenders are excellent for everyday drivers, especially for towing except in snow. The AT2’s are retarded tires, kinda worthless... lol. Sent from Above
  19. Michelin Defenders and AT2’s suck in the snow, I know this from personal experience. Sent from Above
  20. The tires that come on the trucks may have the name brand and model of a store tire but they’re not alike, very different performance and durability. I’ve never kept oem tires on any of my new vehicles cause they’re garbage, many better tires out there and if you’re on a budget, Wildpeak AT3’s have good reviews Sent from Above
  21. Stay away from Goodyear, get yourself a set of KO2’s! Sent from Above
  22. Btw, in the pick you see, I’ve got mine facing downward, it would be much brighter if it was tilted higher. Sent from Above
  23. That’s a great price, I’d avoid the mud as long as you can, it’s fun getting them dirty but horrible getting it out from every crack and crevice, especially with upgraded suspension. Mine was double that cost and ZERO interest getting into mud. I hog hunt often and though the previous Nitto Ridge Grapplers did ok in wet grass and shallow mud, after just one time cleaning my truck, it’s 4wheelers from there on out. Btw, you’ve got a good looking truck, congrats! Sent from Above
  24. I saw those at Discount Tire a couple visits back, you really need to do a review on them, how do you like them so far, happy with them?? I’m sure just about anything is better than the stock oem tires. Sent from Above
