The KO’s and KO2’s have always had the same but there’s more to it than just siping, imho, tire chemicals compound has a lot to do with it. Ever notice a new tire not gripping well? Nope, they’ve got a layer of performance enhanced compounds until you hit approximately 20k miles in them. The Nitto Ridge Grapplers were great in the beginning, they sucked at 16k miles. Im going to be adding weight to my rear if and “when” these new KO2’s start to slip, never had issues before but it’s what I’m going to do if and when it happens and see if that helps any. Right now, I’m digging the Cooper AT3’s XLT, excellent reviews, lighter and taller tire from the KO2’s. Sent from Above
