  1. Get measurements. I got the 2.5" and have only installed the front, it's a tad nose high but honestly I can't tell unless I pull a tape on it or if it's sitting just right. If you do the 2.5", put the rear block in. I'm gonna put mine in just to see what it looks like. This is on a 2014 Z71.
  2. Put the level on last night. It's the steering linkage that uses a 10mm wrench (if it spins while reinstalling). The ball joint is a 7/32 allen for those doing this in the future. On a side note, it was late so I didn't put the rear block in. Like a dummy I didn't have all my tires inflated to the same PSI so my initial measurements were off. Now the front is higher than the rear. Tires are all the same now, and as soon as I add the rear block I'll post up pics and measurements. Thanks for all the help so far guys.
  3. So I have the 2.5" kit coming tomorrow. The step that uses the 21mm wrench...can I use a 21mm socket? I have the socket but not the wrench. I have all the other tools. I can buy a wrench if needed, just would rather use what i have.
  4. I've been combing these threads for measurements close to mine for weeks. Thanks for replying. This is the most beneficial info I've gotten for my situation. I'll probably order the kit this week. Also, sweet ride! I'll post up some pics of mine when I get it all done up.
  5. New guy here, I recently got into a '14 Sierra Z71. I plan on getting a leveling kit and doing the install myself. I've got 3" of hideous rake. I don't mind a little, but 3" is a ton for me. I'm at 36" up front and 39" in the back. Does a 2.5" up front go up a true 2.5" or does it vary? Basically a 2.5" would put me at 38.5", half an inch lower than the back which I'm perfectly fine with. Am I correct with those measurements, or like asked above does it vary?
