  1. I'm not a fan of the android auto update. It used to show song playing for a few seconds even over the map when it was starting and if I felt like skipping it was easy. Now I'm forced to use my steering wheel controls or click on the music app and skip that way.
  2. Didn't get any feedback on this but I proceeded with this and bought a very clean 06 2500HD CCSB. Paid 22.7 out the door.
  3. Do NOT buy Rough Country. Everything Rough Country rides like ******. Dog ****** quality. Save your money
  4. How about these https://www.ebay.com/itm/254269198458?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=iZ-sFoBRSnO&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=bxZ-O7cwQLy&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY It seems like the key is to look up ones for a 2500HD. Same fit.
  5. Weren't searching hard enough bud https://www.roughcountry.com/chevy-defender-fender-flares-a-c11412.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwzdOlBhCNARIsAPMwjbzK6oW6GIxZFJLqO_b0NrNp4Y1OaMXeRkrLj0qlRttnaHZoFPaU05gaAjrZEALw_wcB#2997=9551?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpcs&utm_campaign=18022125814|&utm_content=&utm_term=||m||fit_first_A-C11412-GBA-b
  6. I've been debating on selling my 1500 for a 2500HD. From what I understand, the LBZ is the most sought out diesel among GM. What can I expect to pay for a clean 05-07 LBZ Duramax with under 150k miles? I looked a bit around on marketplace and the cleanest one I've found they're asking 25k for it with 101k miles (No rust). Is this price high compared to your area? I live in Florida so rust isn't a big issue.
  7. Those are the correct style mirrors. He's talking about one's found on 2020+ 2500s etc. I also have those style and I love them. Bought from EBAY and wired directly to factory harness using factory pins saving a ton of money compared to Boost.
  8. Furthermore, look how they're made. They were designed too low so they made it come up to where the last 6 generations are mounted. Therefore they wouldn't work correctly even if you did mount them. You know, those trucks would look so much better if they didn't mess with the mirror placement
  9. Why on earth would you want to do that? Anything after 2019 is butt ugly. GM placing their mirrors like that and designing the tow mirrors so strangely killed them.
  10. "Real" HP? $300, or not it's definitely an increase and it sounds badass.
  11. 100% normal, same on the 5.3L. Love mine aswell. Was a bit expensive but worth it imo.
  12. An 18 LTZ should be equipped with factory bed lighting. My 16 LT has it. As for lightbar I would recommend to get a nice push bar or brush guard to mount to. It's asthetically pleasing.
  13. Nice certainly good mileage for a v8 pickup
  14. Ahh that's more like it! Yeah my best average on my 2017 Tahoe says 34MPG but the most I squeezed lately is 28. Which I'm still extremely happy with for a full size V8 SUV
  15. I'm not buying it. The most I'd take your word for is 28 even that's a stretch. Take a picture of your dash last 400 miles average.
  16. Not to call you bluff, but there's no way in hell. Must be going down hill a lot.
  17. It is 100% true and the difference might be 1 or 2 MPG. Definitely not worth catastrophic engine failure. I have a 2016 Silverado and a 2017 Tahoe and both AFM systems are disabled through a tuner. Truck MPG is irrelevant because it's on 35s and is not setup for economy. The Tahoe I work out of however still gets a high of 27 mpg highway and a low of 20 MPG city. Definitely save yourself the headache and disable that
  18. You can't have both. If you have more HP you'll have less gas mileage. I like the predator tuners
  19. I will be the first to tell you any altercations to suspension will affect the ride quality. My advise is decide whats more important, looks or ride quality. I have both. A Tahoe for ride quality and a Silverado on 35s for fun and "looks". The truck although is a bit higher lift, does have a rough ride unless at highway speeds on smooth roads. It will make you feel every bump in the road.
  20. Not sure if this helps but I pulled this from a video I followed doing my own mirrors
  21. Stock midnight edition 18s on 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers
  22. They sell a blacked out edition you know... midnight edition ring any bells?
  23. Hell no it wouldn't. Do something original that isn't stretching tires
