  1. My mirrors from Ebay came with a easy wire harness all I needed was those. Snake them through the door and plugs directly into the factory harness. Very happy with my results. I'd recommend you do the same and buy a harness off Ebay. They are not expensive.
  2. I bought these from Mouser. You need a correct crimping tool.
  3. You obviously bought the wrong truck. I really don't understand what is up with people buying 4x4s and dropping them. Why? You go through all the extra effort to make it something it wasn't designed when you could of easily saved 4-5k by buying a 2wd. You do you, at the end of the day you probably don't care, but enlighten me on these financial decisions.
  4. My install was a success and I saved quite a bit of money. I paid $240 for the mirrors and $10 for 10 DSQ 1.5 terminals from Mouser Electrics. I followed Texas Auto mirrors video and just finished the install a few minutes ago. About 1 hour 30 minutes total.
  5. Sounds like they're disabled through the BCM. Will need a tech II scanner to turn them back on. Personal advise if you bought new headlights, I hope they aren't the ebay special. They tend to have very poor quality everything that doesn't last or perform. But to answer your question it sounds like the DRL was disabled.
  6. I am going to try this harness. A lot cheaper and worth the risk imo. I can wire lume and add grommets for less than $100. Also going to try the ebay special switchback mirrors for $250 vs the Boost Auto $1000 mirrors. I can't blow $500+ on mirrors, doesn't make sense to me https://www.ebay.com/itm/14-18-Silverado-Sierra-Tow-Mirrors-Wiring-Harness-Easiest-way-to-install-/124343612189?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
  7. Yes its a simple bulb swap. For signals I prefer Lasfit and no preference on reverse bulb. Just make sure its a bulb that has the lense on the back for projection. I believe my brand is YitaMotors or something Yita for that
  8. You only need a resistor where a turn signal wire is meaning only the top and bottom bulbs of the rear tail light
  9. Can't relate. I'm in Florida and love them. They are a God send.
  10. Neither. Roll N Lock is the best cover ever made. Period.
  11. Let the dealer do their job and stop doubting them.
  12. Good luck... I guess the good thing is people will still pay $50 for them in garbage condition. The metal underneath was starting to fall out on its own. The cloth to help temp and sealing came off from crappy glue. There's a video on it if you look. For the price its ridiculous. And the cherry on top, in order to use a warranty they look for a paper serial tag that can wash away.
  13. Click your fog light button during the day. My lights remain bright as long as it’s day light
  14. BAK Revolver is an absolutely awful cover long term. Mine fell apart. Literally. I replaced it with a Roll N Lock A series and I would never look at another cover. Everything about it is perfect. It keeps most water out however it not 100%. It's expected of a cover capable of using my your bed still though.
  15. I have them and they're alright. If you have the money I'd go with Diode Dynamics or Morimoto. If it's an HID projector you should stick to HID. I don't drive my truck enough to buy again.

  17. Yes, one minute let me find the link, also yes my Rexing came with 1 fuse but I didn't want to go through the extra work of making it turn off with the key so I removed the fuse and tapped the wire into the fuse
  18. This may not help at all but there is another thread for this subject that involves spare constant power fuse slots. I cut out the fuse on mine and tapped into the radio fuse. Dashcam comes on when the key is on and off when off.
  19. Those Fabtechs weren't on the market when I made a purchase. It was the CST or Rough Country. The knuckle lifts normally allow OEM use it's the bracket lifts that say you can't under 20". Mine even says cant use with factory 18s but I saw someone else do it so here I am. Rules are meant to be broken.
  20. Well the more you know. Unfortunately only 4" and can't use OEMs
  21. There is no such thing as a knuckle lift that won't increase track width. Bracket is the only way.
  22. I have a 5" Rough Country bracket lift on stock 18s and 35s. Stock track width.
  23. Ironically Headlight revolution page is pretty awful too. Their brand is overpriced and it isn't even the best. They won't test the top dogs against theirs directly
