  1. Car and Driver just had an article about the 2021 Tahoe with an artist's rendering. Apparently it will have the 3.6, eww. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a28157980/chevrolet-tahoe-future-suv-2021/
  2. Yikes The K2 trucks don't have ACC, even the T1s won't until MY 2020 so there isn't much precedent. The dealer would be your best bet.
  3. It's nothing a couple of washers/caps couldn't fix.
  4. Ram has the pretty perfect ZF 8-speed. It's hard to beat the Hemi/ZF8 combo.
  5. The biggest problem I see with this is one would be stopping every 50 miles to pee.
  6. Yikes! I know we don't like to use the F-word much around here, but if you're in an area where rust/salt is that big of an issue, an aluminum body might not be the worst thing.
  7. They must have changed something between 16 and 17+. I know they did change how the cooled seats work, as the seatback looks different. Mine works perfectly, on level 3 it's very hot. I actually used it to keep a carry-out pizza warm the other day.
  8. Have you tried Toyota's? I was pretty impressed with the system in the Land Cruiser.
  9. Thanks! Glad I'm not the only one who prioritizes interior over exterior color! That being said, I really didn't want red because I knew there'd be no shortage of "Here comes the fire truck" jokes made at my expense. Pepperdust is pretty nice, definitely gives off a "Cowboy Cadillac" vibe. Here are some shots of the interior and exterior:
  10. Speaking of rare, does anyone know if Suburbans/Yukon XLs with 2nd row bench seats actually exist in the wild? It's pretty common on the Tahoe/Yukon, but I've never seen a K2 Suburban/XL with it.
  11. Don't even get me started on how hard it was to find one WITHOUT 22" wheels. Living in the land of the pothole, I'll take as fat of sidewalls as possible. I knew mine was special when I found it. 20"s, 3.42, Max Tow Package, Cocoa interior, Sun and Ent package, adaptive cruise, non-power running boards, and pearl white to top it off. Seems like this sort of configuration was a lot more popular in the South than further north.
  12. Hello everyone, New 2018 Suburban Premier owner here, and am loving the truck so far. When I was shopping for a new vehicle, adaptive cruise control was on my wishlist. I was very fortunate to find one with the feature as well as all the other options I wanted, but from browsing dealer inventory within a few hundred miles of me it seemed like at least 75% of them didn't have the feature. I was just wondering about it, this is a feature you get standard on a Camry these days so it's not exactly some highly experimental new tech. It's only a $900 option, yet seems to be very rare on Suburbans and Tahoes. Do y'all have any thoughts about it? Also why are they so hard to find with tan interiors? The tan color is seriously beautiful.
