  1. I'll look forward to your review of the shop you use. If you end up thinking they do really quality work, I might make the drive over there from Gainesville.
  2. Got my DL3 mirrors installed, but have no clue how to upload a video to this site. But I'll try to get pictures that show the turn signals and puddle lights as functional. The power fold also works perfectly. So now my future mod is to get an auto dimming rearview mirror to link up my driver's side mirror and have them dim at night. Update: it says my files of those pictures are too big to upload, so just believe me that they work, LOL Anyway, mods to come soon (in addition to the rearview mirror): Lamin-x (probably the brand) headlight/foglight protection film DU-HA under seat storage/gun rack organizer Purchase tailgate seals for when I install my bed cover Tint windows with IR (heat blocking) film at 20% in rear row and back windows, 50% on driver and passenger, and as light as possible on the whole windshield, with a 35% - 50% bar at the top (flat bar, not personally a huge fan of the tint jobs that are like an arch on the top of the windshield) K&N rechargeable air filter K&N washable cabin air filter Lots of smaller stuff, but I am excited nonetheless!
  3. Gorgeous truck - and welcome to the forum! If you ever think about it, can you send me a picture of the headlight output on those new weird LEDs in your Chevy? I think they have 3 or 4 vertical bars? They looks like they would have really weird output but I’ve been curious if it’s any good.
  4. Those look nice! I love your truck, looks great!
  5. I put on HD2 from RC. Love them still and they hug up to the body really close - which was one of my requirements.
  6. I’d guess don’t understand- doesn’t seem like he is joking.
  7. Info on how you mounted your license plate please Great shot and I love your True North emblems
  8. Wasn’t today - but I went to the park to take a couple pictures. Here is probably my favorite.
  9. Fitting ... do you own that restaurant? LOL
  10. Thanks! The cargo on with reverse is working fine, but I’ll change that high beam one ?
  11. Also did the diode to make my cargo lights come on with reverse. And I tried to do fogs with high beams but I did it wrong. I accidentally tapped fogs with low beams so now I can’t turn them off when headlights are on. Got to redo that one because I still want control of them.
  12. Hit 2,000. Still smiling behind the wheel!
  13. Busy day today. Went to the dealer and they replaced my intermediate steering shaft for rusting. Then on the way home I went and took some pictures in the park. Finished prep work for DL3 mirror upgrade the weekend.
  14. Added bed light strips. I think they perform pretty well for $20 total.
  15. I’m still liking them. I think they look good and, well, they haven’t fallen off yet while stepping on them ? Install was super straightforward on the driver side - passenger side has a couple more steps because of a different front bracket. Overall fairly easy though (I had one person helping). If you want more pictures of them, let me know.
  16. The important distinction is you are adding in parallel, and only 1 ohm. If you could find resistors that we’re even less than 1 ohm it would be better even. @pgsulins The Veq is equivalent resistance of the entire system. Multiplication by 1 on the top keeps the numerator the same, while adding 1 each time to the bottom increases the denominator. Thereby decreasing overall number. If you had resistors less than 1 ohm, you would actually DECREASE the top while still increasing the bottom - lowering it much faster with fewer resistors. Hope this makes sense
  17. Finished painting the bike rack I made black. Makes it blend better with my bed than white PVC that sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s kind of glossy though so I might do another layer with matte black. if anyone is interested in the measurements for it, just let me know (my measurements are specific for standard box - will not work on short box)
  18. We need either the current or the resistance for each scenario (LTZ and non) to be able to determine the equivalent resistance.
  19. It would be helpful to know if @rah7777777 numbers are accurate. If those are indeed the correct numbers, we can calculate the number required
  20. If you add 1 ohm resistors in paralllel it should work. Resistance in parallel adds such that 1 ohm resistors will keep the numerator the same but keep adding one to the denominator.
  21. Thanks man. Next up for this week is putting DL3 mirrors on. They are sitting in my house with Phil’s harness so everything is set up for it.
  22. Put in my PUTCO red blade. I used the Curt mfg T harness behind the bumper for a clean install. I absolutely love how bright it is and how much it lights up the reversing at night - both just looking back and on the camera screen. Also include a picture of the brightness of the red at the running light (dim) brightness.
  23. Installed the PUTCO red blade under my tailgate. I love it! SO bright and it lights up in reverse like daylight on the camera. You can see a distinct line that the lightbar light starts in this picture:
