  1. Depends on what model and options you want, and your dealer's allocation. For example - I ordered a Suburban High Country with the Duramax and High Country Deluxe package on 12/9. It is still sitting in 1100 today. Diesels were on a 10% max production constraint through December (may have been extended - cannot find info on that). This week, GM put the Air Suspension and NHT Max Tow packages on constraint. Basically they are not building anything with those options at the moment and your order will sit. On top of that, in the case of my individual dealer - they did not get any Suburbans allocated for the month of January. Even though I have a sold order at the top of their stack, GM would not give them a Suburban last month. Supposedly whatever the first Suburban allocation they get for February will get assigned to my build. Now that they constrained it, who the hell knows.
  2. Not that I am going to engage you on this again, but let's see a 4.3 do what you are stating above. It can't, no engine can. Now, review the video above to see it operating as designed... which if you were to run neck and neck with your beloved 4.3 you would see it get its ass handed to it... 12% more torque and a broader, flatter torque curve where it matters...
  3. Aside from the harness issues early on, the engine itself has been flawless. The trans is awful, and the rest of the truck is a huge disappointment in terms of reliability and quality. My A/C compressor is making a racket at the moment and the steering alternates between honking like a goose and binding up and making loud banging noises under the dash that GM can’t figure out. I have 19k miles on mine since April, about 5k of which were put on while towing my boat. Average mpg for me has slipped a bit to 23.8, but I’ve spent a lot of time in the mountains lately.
  4. You can probably thank me being ground zero and having to sue GM for this. Yay for being an early adopter. Get it in and get it fixed quickly, if that harness rubs through it will leave you for dead - either by not starting or it will leave you in the middle of the road With no warning.
  5. It was a bonus for me. I would almost never use 4LO (the torque of the 2.7T is perfectly fine for the steepest boat ramps I have used), and I use Auto pretty much every time it rains.
  6. 14,500 miles on mine. The engine has been flawless from a hardware perspective - just the wiring harness issues earlier that were hell to fix. The 8 speed is a rough shifting piece of garbage, IMO/IME, but at least it's reliable. My average fuel economy has dropped over the past 2,000 miles and I am at about 21.4 right now - about half of those have been spent towing the boat so I am not going to gripe.
  7. Here’s mine, filthy and putting in some work on the worst day of the year for me (winterizing ?)
  8. This is what I sued GM over due to their inability to fix properly. The TSB is a garbage repair by GM. The harnesses need replaced, not repaired.
  9. Here’s an example of mine at high RPM - you can see the oil pressure jump
  10. I have the 22” Alenzas, and it shuts down at 107.
  11. Mine alerts and hits the limiter at 107. I have 22's on my RST 4x4 with the 2.7. Need to check the speed rating...
  12. Mine stays below 30 for the most part - and it will climb to 50-60 under heavy load (towing in the mountains). These have a variable flow oil pump - so it is not dependent upon RPM to determine pressure. I have 11K on mine, and aside from an occasional rhythmic rumble right after start for a few seconds it is quiet and vibration free.
  13. Has anyone here experienced a mild popping noise/sensation coming from the steering yet? Mine started out being just when I was backing out of my driveway and turning. I figured it was something being flexed hard up front - but now it happens on all ground, both forward and reverse at low speeds. I am adding it to my laundry list of crap they need to fix the next time I hand this thing over - but wondering if these are symptoms of a steering column issue (my shifter is floppy, so I am imagining I am going to be in column hell now as well).
  14. It does quite fine in the mountains with a load. I get the feeling I’m the only one here who has actually worked a 2.7 over in terms of carrying a load with any elevation. Passing and pulling hills are no issue - usually in 8th or 7th gear. If you’re familiar with a diesel, the 2.7 feels eerily similar. It keeps the revs down as low as it can, spools the turbo and lets the torque do the work.
  15. I have a clunk noise nearing lock on both sides when going slow, like when backing out of my driveway. It knocks and clunks about as much as my '05 Colorado did at 175K miles at this point.
  16. I have the occasional rough 1-2, the occasional 2-1, and it shudders like a wet dog pretty much all of the time under light acceleration. The 8 speed is Satan's own transmission and needs to be recalled, taken out back, and shot...
  17. I cannot say good enough things about Kimmel & Silvermann (Lemonlaw.com). Just reach out to them via their website and talk with them. It's no pressure on their side - but had I not gotten a lawyer, GM was not going to do anything for me. They will probably try to offer a settlement - but you are square in Lemon Law territory. The lawyer who did my case has a strong track record with going after GM to make things right.
  18. Haha no worries - what an interesting chart. I will say that from my butt dyno and audible perspective that it is spot on. The turbo spools (and starts whistling loudly) right off idle. My neighbors used to be able to tell when I was coming up the road from the exhaust on my Colorado - now they can hear me whistling up the hill.
  19. Not sure where you saw that at. It runs up to 22psi of boost. It’s not really pushing any design limits - GM wasn’t stupid enough to stress it like Ford does with the EB.
  20. Why are you posting in this thread?
  21. It's hard to discount something that doesn't exist. They're not that prevalent out, yet. Mine was #2 for my dealer - right behind their demo, which sold the day after I drove it and ordered my truck.
  22. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I got pretty close to KBB for mine, which I was surprised at - particularly since it was an absurdly rare manual trans equipped truck. I figured they would nail me on it but they didn't. They complained more about my 20% tint than they did the clutch pedal. Mine was a 2015 2WD WT Extended Cab with every option except the appearance package and 75K miles and I got $11,500 for it, IIRC. CSX owned it before me, and there was some rail dust in the paint, a couple of dents in the tailgate and a healthy ding in the driver's rear door.
  23. I went from a Trifecta tuned 2.5L 6 speed manual 2015 Colorado to my 2.7L RST. They are night and day different. It has the torque curve of a diesel and pulls like one from down low riding on turbo boost. It doesn't need to be wound out like the 2.5 to make its power, and in fact it doesn't exactly want to rev.
  24. I'm an odd bird - I would have snatched up a 2.7L High Country or Denali in a heartbeat if I could. I originally wanted the Duramax but got tired of waiting - and I needed more capability and room than my Colorado had.
